   Summary

   "You know, it would just be easy to pretend like it's not happening. That we're just teenagers doing whatever it is teenagers do."

   Eddie's eyebrows shoot upwards. "What?"

   Clearing his throat, Harrington straightens his posture and runs a hand through his hair— Eddie tracking the movement, once again, wishing he could reach out and do it himself, but he doesn't. And then, he's holding it out between them for a handshake. "Hi, I'm Steve."

   And without hesitating, Eddie slips his hand into Steve's, trying not to think about how soft his hands are, a complete contrast to Eddie's own due to his work as a mechanic. "I'm Eddie."

   Edward Munson knew exactly what the outcome of the games were going to be, at least until he met Steven Harrington.
