Chapter Text
Saps gasps for air desperately, his breathing sharp and fast, begging for the oxygen to enter his body. With the way his breathing is ragged, he feels like as if he was being chased by someone.
His eyes shook open, dilated pupils immediately examining the surroundings. Checking whether if it's safe or not but his vision is blurry so he's unsure. Nonetheless, it seems like no one was there so it could be safe.
Saps presses his hands to his heart trying to claw its way in but his hands lose momentum, slowly turning numb. He gets a hold of himself and lets his breathing get stable until he can no longer hear himself panting.
Concluding that he was alone with how silent it was, Saps uses his weakened palms to lift himself upright to stand up. After failing for a few times, he settles for sitting down, using the white wall as a support for his back.
He pats down the floor, trying to find his glasses. Once he feels a rectangular frame and thick lenses in his hands and is sure it is his glasses, he hooks it around his ears, finally seeing things clearly.
His mind is confused, what had just happened? Saps feels his memories dazed and fragmented. Like a glass that was shattered into a million pieces.
The last thing he could only remember was the agonizing pain he felt after he drank some sort of vial? though it looks like that pain didn't stop. His whole body was aching and his stomach was eating itself, gnawing at him to eat something but he doesn't focus on that even if it disturbs him.
There was nothing he could do to satiate it at this moment.
He looks at his surroundings again, only this time, more clearly. Aside from the strange cage that he used as a support there was nothing else interesting in this small space, besides a knife stuck in a board right next to a brewing stand which was serving as a light source along with the lit lanterns.
Has– has he been here before? No, no he's always been here.. he.. Where is here, exactly?
A few strange dark particles flows through the air. Saps shifts, spotting an empty bottle with traces of some sort of greenish liquid still stuck in it. Huh, is that the vial he drank from? The reason why he was hurting and then passed out? He shakes it off. It wasn't important anymore, it's now just an empty bottle.
What caught his eye the most was the dark tinted window. If he looked closely he could see there was another room right outside. Saps turns to his left and sees a nearby door. Great, at least there was a way out.
His happiness vanished once he realizes that can't feel or move his lower body part.
That became useless for now if he can't move, and he'd rather not crawl his way through. His fingers brushed through his hair, feeling how soaked it was.
It's not that hot in here per se but the way he was pouring buckets might suggest otherwise. His sweat was cold, maybe it was because of stress then.
Saps tries his best to switch into a more comfortable position by lifting himself now he can heel his hands strengthen.
First things first his name is Saps, that he can definitely remember but he was sure he had a last name.. What was it? Did it start with an S too?
Second thing is that he might be underground somewhere that only God knows where. Saps tries to think harder of other things he might know.
Until an abrupt sharp pain strikes him, interrupting him from processing his thoughts. Saps instinctively forces his eyes shut, trying to reduce the pain he was enduring.
The sound of ringing starts to occupy his hearing. His head began to throb, making him feel dizzy and nauseated. He feels a bile rising up his throat but he pushes it down.
Heavy breaths echoed in the room, Saps can feel himself lowering in his sitting position grasping desperately at his chest, struggling to breathe once again.
His own trembling fingers dig through his skin, not hard enough to draw blood but hard enough to hurt. Saps' vision is blurry even though he's wearing his glasses. He feels water glossing over his eyes.
It feels suffocating. It hurts. It hurts..

Saps can hear a bloodcurdling scream echo in his ears. His throat burning, tempting him to scratch it. He forces his hand to stay in his chest never letting it near his throat.
The ear-splitting sound stopped but his throat only hurts more. Did that come from him?
He sucks a breath again, trying to feel air enter his lungs but once it did he feels himself coughing harshly. It felt like an axe striking his whole body over and over again.
Saps thumps his chest repeatedly in an attempt to calm down his coughing fit, he's not sure if that's making it worse or better because it still won't stop.
With one last hit to his chest, his coughs began to lessen and calm down. However, what didn't lessen was the sinking feeling in his stomach. His suffering was gone by now except the hunger he was experiencing stayed.
He was so hungry, no, he was desperately starving.
Saps clutches his stomach to ease the pain. A thin fabric over his shoulder, slips off. Oh, He just now realizes that it was there. It was a brown satchel with different types of cloth sewn in to patch it up.
Saps lifts the front flap of the satchel, looking through the items inside. There was a gun sitting there but it wasn't loaded and Saps was not seeing any ammo anywhere so it's pretty useless right now, he still keeps it just in case he finds ammo.
There were a few more items like a clock, a compass as well as a flint and steel. There was also a worn out book but Saps is not interested in reading it at this moment, he was hungry. He'll read it later, he notes in his mind.
Saps sees a few bread and some baked potatoes in there, including watermelon slices covered in a plastic bag, probably so it won't go bad.
The bread's outer crust feels rough at his fingertips, he takes it out of the satchel, inspecting it. There was no mold on it, no dirt or anything. It was probably safe.
He didn't really wanna eat it since he was craving something else but his stomach was yelling at him to eat so he takes a small bite of the bread.
It was.. stale, not saying that Saps was picky, of course– he couldn't afford to be picky especially considering the state of this world as of this moment but it didn't taste good.
He keeps eating it nevertheless. Maybe it could fill his empty stomach. After chewing for some time, it did make him feel a little bit better but he was still unsatisfied.
Saps stares into an empty space for a few minutes wondering the reason for why he was here. Was he trying to find someone? Or was he making something here to help someone?
An image of a girl is waving her black and purple pom-poms matching her split hair color flashes through his mind. Saps can't see her face but from her body language she was probably smiling and all happy.
. . .
Now is probably a good time to read the book. It might fill in the gaps of his memories. He digs open through the satchel once again finding the book easily, it occupied a large space in the bag so it wasn't that hard to looks for.
When he pulled it out, Saps noticed how run down the cover was. Half the pages inside were already filled with writings. It looked like a personal journal instead of a book.
As Saps was about to crack the journal open a voice distracts him from doing so.
"Saps?"
Saps in the meanwhile looks over to where the voice was. A woman with light ginger hair rushes in through the door with a worried look on her face.
The woman repeats his name like a mantra. Seeing that he was sitting down besides the white cage she kneels over to him in an eye to eye position.
"Are you okay?" She asks, her brows furrowing in concern. Saps analyzes her face. She looks oddly familiar.
Saps eyes darts away from her and notices another person far away dozing off. It was a boy with brown hair with a red bandana that covered his neck. For some reason that boy strikes him with familiarity too.
He returns his gaze towards the person who was besides him. Then it hits him. Estelle? No, no, it was Stellar, was it? Saps urges his mind to remember, why can't he remember?
…Oh!
It was Stella.
"Stella?" Saps replies after a long period of time, although the way he said it comes off as asking if that was her name rather than a greeting towards her.
Stella on the other hand releases the breath she didn't know how long she was holding. "..Yeah, yeah! It's me. Are you.. okay?" Stella questions him again, in hopes to gain his answer this time.
"I'm.. I'm fine." Saps stutters through his words. The journal in his hand left forgotten. Right, you know what he'll read it for later. Saps puts it back in the satchel, closing its opening.
Huh, why did he bring that out again? He's not sure. Where was he?
Stella doesn't lose that worried look in her face though. She was sensing something was wrong. "What are you still doing here, Saps?" She says tilting her head, confused.
Saps shrugs instead of verbally answering Stella. He starts to fiddle with the strap of the bag as a way to distract himself. The atmosphere was slowly turning awkward by now.
His memories with Stella began to appear piece by piece, Saps sees her more clearly now. They were practically sticking to each other at the first day after the bus broke down. He trusts her, Stella is first ally he made in this city.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Stella continues to ask him. She was doubting him, wasn't she? Saps sees no point in that. He was fine.
"…Yeah, I mean I think I drank some sort of vial and that made me feel bad but I'm alright now." Saps answered, Stella seemed to flinch when he said the word vial.
"Do you want some water?" Stella offers him, shifting to grab a water bottle in her bag. "I know you just drank something but.. uhm.." Saps doesn't mind, taking it from her hands, maybe it'll help with the aftertaste of the stale bread he ate and his dry throat.
"Here, you should– you should eat this, you look pretty bad." Stella holds a bowl in front of him. It's some kind of strange soup. Saps stops fiddling at the straps of his satchel to take it from her hands, careful to not let it spill.
The soup had some red, brown mushrooms as well as yellow petals floating around. It looked weird but it seemed delicious, still he hesitates.
"I made it so don't– don't worry, it's safe to eat! I'm sure that you're hungry and maybe it'll help you feel better." Stella reassures him after seeing his skeptical face. Saps trusts that Stella wouldn't hurt him so why not? Hopefully this won't taste as bad as the bread in his bag.
Saps takes a small sip, the flavors suddenly burst through his mouth. It was delicious. He finishes the soup Stella had made in one go, he feels better after eating it, surely that'll satisfy his hunger now.
But it didn't.
He lets out a small cough after eating the soup, not noticing how Stella reacted to his action. He places the empty bowl on his side, making sure he wouldn't hit it if he moves.
The boy in the window caught his eye again. He was munching on a baked potato silently observing the two of them. The boy with red bandana meets his eyes. He freezes still once he realizes the eye contact they made.
"Oh, hello, it's you from the bus and the hospital." Saps greets him, trying to make a small conversation. The boy stares at Stella, unsure of what to do but Stella darts her eyes back and forth at Saps to him, hinting at the brown haired boy to respond to him.
The boy paused for a moment before responding. "Hospital? Do you mean the hostel or..?" The boy questions him. Saps can see how he looked at him with a bewildered expression.
"No, the hospital. We saw each other there some time ago." Saps remarked. In the corner of his eyes he sees Stella's apprehensive gaze worsen.
Realization dawns upon the brown haired boy. "Like– like the hospital on our first day here?" His lips turn into a slight frown.
"I mean, yeah, the one with the helicopter, I think." He answers, unsure if that was actually the right hospital. Saps curses in his mind. He can't remember anything right.
Saps couldn't hold it in anymore, curiosity peering through his mind. He asks the boy one simple question. "I'm sorry, what was your name again?"
The ambiance in the room sank to an all time low right after Saps had said that sentence. The air felt so thick he could cut it with a knife. Had he said something wrong?
Silence looms over the three of them. It was eerily quiet that he could hear how Stella swallowed her saliva hard, how the other boy missed a step, almost falling down at the desk he was standing on.
It's like they were all in a trance with the way they all froze. Each of them not daring to move.
Stella is the first one to snap out of it. "Saps, what are you– you don't remember his name?" Based on her tone, Saps can tell how she was trying to not believe the situation.
"No, I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It's okay, Saps." Stella reassures him, she was about to continue but the other boy interrupts her "Did you hit your head or something?" He asks him, his tone dazed.
"No? I mean I feel a little sick but I'm sure I didn't hit my head." Saps gave them a nervous laugh. Immediately sensing that something was wrong by the way the other two acted.
Stella interrogates him more, Saps tries his best to respond properly but he mostly gave her a few shrugs and too many "I don't know"s.
"Saps, I need you to be– to be really honest right now." Stella said, her voice brittle and thin. Saps nods his head in response. Taking that as a sign to continue, Stella asks him, "Are you infected?"
Saps huffs, giving her a blank stare of disbelief. "What?" He wasn't infected, he doesn't like an infected cause if he was he'd feel his body slowly decay.
"I heard you cough, Saps. you seem sick– you even sound sick!" She snapped at him. There's a desperate look in her eyes begging him to tell her she's wrong.
"And now you don't remember– you don't remember him?" Stella points towards the person outside the window.
"I'm.. I'm not infected, I'm just feeling a little cloudy, I'm fine." Saps eyes darted away again for some reason, looking everywhere except the two people that were staring at him.
"Aren't the symptoms of the infection forgetfulness, coughing and sickness." Stella's breath hitches, "based from what I'm seeing you're experiencing that right now, Saps." Stella pressed further.
Saps doesn't know what kind of situation she's in but it sounds like she couldn't take any more chances of losing someone. "Are you alright?" Stella repeats for the third time.
Saps doesn't know why but he was starting to get annoyed. He is fine. Why do they keep asking him if he was? He already answered.
"Did stress make you forget?" The other boy pressed his hands in the glass, joining in to question him with Stella.
"I don't– I don't know! Stop asking me–" A slight cough interrupts him. "Stop asking me questions!" Saps raised his voice, losing his temper all of the sudden.
He winces, realizing that he snapped at the two of them. "I'm.. I'm.. sorry for yelling. I didn't mean– I didn't mean to.." Blood drained from his face. He feels guilt swallow him whole immediately.
Stella, even if taken aback by his sudden outrage, didn't back away from him however. "No, don't say sorry. I should be. You feel bad and me pressuring you made you scared." She responds, her tone understanding and regretful.
The ginger haired woman stands up, using the cage as leverage. "You know what, let's get out of this room." Saps notices how her voice seemed wobbly. His guilt furthers more.
The aching in his legs seems to be gone now, surely he can stand up. Saps attempts to lift himself upright fully with the help of the white cage as support.
From his view he can see Stella hesitating whether she should offer him a helping hand or not.
All his limbs feel heavy but he perseveres through and manages to stand up properly, yippie!
Now the walking part he seems unsure but he tries his best. Oh, he doesn't feel pain in each step he takes! That's great. Thinking about it, he feels a lot better now actually. Maybe the soup helped him regain his energy.
He's glad that he's finally out of that room. Now that the tinted window didn't block his view, he can see this part of the area more clearly. There were a bunch of cabinets and more brewing stands lying around.
"Hey, Saps, can you stand over here for a few minutes? The two of us are just gonna.. talk." Stella asks Saps, looking over to the other boy behind her. Saps doesn't mind and nods his head.
"Please, uhm, don't leave."
"I won't."
Taking a seat right above the desks, Saps watches Stella pull the other boy aside in a secluded corner close to the exit whispering to each other.
"….Saps.. same symptoms.. Magic…"
Either that they were not quiet enough or the silence is just too overwhelming that even the slightest sound can audible because Saps can still hear them, even if only a few words process in his head.
He puts his attention to open cabinets as a distraction while the other two bicker at each other, giving up after finding them either empty or full of junk.
Saps can't see Stella's face since her back was turned but based on her body language she seemed to be panicking.
"…Cure.… infected… how long?…"
A few minutes pass by and it seems like their talk isn't over yet. Saps hears other voices overlapping them that he couldn't hear their whispers. Oh, New more people are coming, possibly a group of three.
After some time looks like the two finally finished their private talk. Stella walks over towards his direction, trying to not so discreetly hide her anxious expression. Saps sees the brown hair boy go towards where the other voices were.
Stella waves him over. "Do you want me to read you some good books? Maybe it could help you feel better." She offers him. That sounds interesting but Saps doesn't know if he wants to listen right now.
The other voices echo louder, interrupting Stella in her speech as she tries to read him a page of her books.
Saps takes a closer look at the incoming group. There was a woman with dirty blonde hair and pink eyes. Saps thinks he'd met her before but never really got her name. Or maybe he had just forgotten it.
Another boy but this time with bright blonde hair and extremely blue eyes covered by dark tinted glasses. Clearly the glasses didn't do a great work considering that his eyes were still blinding.
There was also a woman with pale ivory hair with light green eyes wearing a garnet red scarf. Saps remembers her clearly along with Stella. Her name was Meagon.
"Infected?"
"He lost his memories?"
"I think- I think karma might be real."
"How much of his memories?"
The voices echoed all across the room. Saps attempts to tune them out, trying to listen more carefully to Stella but he just can't focus.
The boy with the blonde hair began to approach the two of them before eventually backing away returning to where the others were.
The longer they stare, the more Saps feel awkward around them. He excuses himself to Stella, heading to where they were. "I'm sorry, what're you guys doing? What're your names?" He says pointedly towards everyone in front of him except Meagon.
The air feels tough to breathe in with how quick the atmosphere turned awkward. The blonde boy is the first one to speak up, answering Saps question. "Oh, uhm, I'm Rotation." Rotation? Like the movement? You know what Saps won't judge him for that. He seems nice.
"I'm Meagon." Saps already knows that but he doesn't mind her reintroducing herself. Saps greets her with a slight smile. Meagon seems to notice it and smiles back.
The woman he forget the name of speaks up, "I'm Nobody." Now this is getting really awkward, he could take Rotation as a name but Nobody? He shakes his head. She also seems nice and she's familiar so Saps thinks he can trust her.
"Do you remember them?" The brown haired boy– no. It was Thomas, right? Yeah, it was. He's sure of it. Finally remembering his name was like finding the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle.
"Of course I do, Thomas." Saps says with a nervous laugh. His gaze goes back to Stella who was besides him now. Her face flickers with surprise.
"Saps, you remember his name now? I think I never mentioned it to you." Stella says with a radiant smile, her eyes still popped open. "That's good! That's really good."
Meagon speaks up, "Then, Saps, do you remember me and Nobody?" her fingers pointing back and forth towards her and Nobody, hoping for a response.
"Yeah, I remember when we were all around the campfire with some other people." He recalls to them. With how the others seem to light up and the awkward tension disappearing, Saps also feels relieved for some reason.
Stella perks up, beaming with hope. "Oh, that's great! Do you remember the hostel?" She moves closer besides him but backing away a bit the moment she realizes what she said. "Oh, wait I'm sorry, I shouldn't ask too many questions for now."
"No, no, it's alright, Stella." Saps waves both of his hands, shaking it off. Just as he thought the guilt couldn't get any worse. It did.
"Is he like Magic?" Meagon asks Stella with curiosity mixed with nervousness. Like Magic? Saps knows her but he can't put a face to it. Suddenly, fragmented memories flash blurry images in his mind.
Yeah, that really didn't help.
"I don't know, he seems to be feeling better." Stella mentions Saps as if he wasn't in this very room right now. "I am." Saps adds, gaining both Stella and Meagon's attention yet they both look skeptical about his answer.
"But Magic never felt better, I think he's just lying about how–" Saps give an incredulous stare towards Thomas. Seriously. He was right here. Thomas senses his piecing gaze, immediately muttering a sorry but no apologetic tone hinted at his voice.
They resumed their conversation but their voices seemed to sound distant for him to be able to listen. It's like they were all slowly fading away.
His eyes focus on the dark wall behind Nobody. It was neatly polished but it still looked rough. He wonders when was that installed here, this place looks run down so it must've been a long time ago.
At one point he feels like he's seeing all of them in one perspective. Saps thinks he can also see himself. As if his soul wasn't in his body anymore.
A white large backpack blocks his vision. He blinks out of his trance seeing Nobody was handing it towards him. She was moving her mouth, forming an unclear sentence that Saps can't understand.
Slowly his hearing comes back to him. "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Saps asks her, tilting his head in confusion.
Nobody jingles the bag she was raising up, "What color is this?" She says in a gentle demeanor but her stare intense. She was trying to make him connect to them again.
"It's.. white." Saps replies, he can hear Thomas comment something about him and the similarities of the bagpack but he ignores it.
Nobody asks him more strange questions, some having to do with his senses. It was strange but he does her requests anyway.
Nobody drops the bagpack, it lands with a soft thud. "Alright, well I picked this up the last time I was here." She said, tapping both of her feet in the ground. "I figured that it could be yours?"
Saps pulls the zipper on the bag, prying it open. He rummages through the things inside, feeling Stella besides him trying to steal a peek.
There were a lot of stuff here including some strange potions and some food but nothing strikes him with interest.
Oh wait.
He remembers putting stuff here in this bagpack. The belongings were his but the bag isn't really his. He doesn't see the point of having it both anymore.
"I'm not really sure if I want these, maybe you could use it?" Saps closes the zipper on the white bagpack. He pushes it towards Nobody. She could use it for a better cause. She bobbed her head in response, taking the bag back.
Saps counts the number of people in the room. One, two, three, four. Huh, weren't they six? He doesn't see the other boys so Thomas and Rotation must've left the facility or were just exploring around.
"Are we able to go above ground? it's a bit stuffy in here." Saps thinks that being here for too long was the reason for his sickness. The aura radiating from this area was something he couldn't bear anymore.
"That's not really the safest place to be in right now but if you stick with us, you're safe." Her hand runs over her ginger hair, stopping to rub on her temples.
"Before that there's something that you guys should maybe see first." Stella resumes their talk but Saps doesn't pay any mind, he wouldn't get the gist of it since he didn't pay attention to the earlier conversation.
Stella waves them over to the exit of the dark room. All of them follow suit but Saps is the last one to do, letting Nobody go first. The skulls surrounded with the dried blood in the hallway doesn't unnerve him. He feels used to seeing it.
Saps halts to a stop seeing that there was some slight traffic going on in the group. He hears Thomas talking again. Oh, looks like the two didn't wander too far after all.
A lightbulb pops over his head. He remembers now, he was in the second lower facility underneath the large church. His memories are slowly being glued together, maybe he'll remember why he was here soon.
Oh, they were moving again. The light is green now. The group continues to head over to the place Stella was leading them.
Nobody looks behind her, noticing that Saps was falling behind a bit too far. "You good?" She asks him with concern. Saps tries to speak but nothing comes out so he can only nod at her in response.
His throat felt dry again.. but he had drank the water Stella gave him earlier. Dehydration sure comes fast. Nobody, seeing how slow he was, offers him some food but he refuses, excusing that he already had some with him.
No matter what he eats, it will never satiate his hunger so what would be the point?
Saps swallows his saliva in an attempt to temporarily help his throat. He resists the urge to scratch it.
They stopped to a small corner with signs around it. Oh, it was the restricted elevator. The others probably fixed it then if they could use it now.
Meagon was the first to enter, the others do the same, filling in the area. Saps was unsure if they could all fit in such a tight space but he still joins in, afraid to be left behind.
"Okay, yeah, let's just all squeeze in." Someone commented with a humorous tone but Saps was not sure who. The elevator shifts making a loud noise, and he feels a drop happen.
The elevator doors open, revealing a new place he was sure he'd been in before. The other began to make conversation again, checking if no one got left behind.
"Wait, is this the third lower part of the facility?" He questions them, appearing surprised that the elevator actually worked and the fact that there was another lower area.
"Yeah, it leads you somewhere– you know what, I think it's better if you see it for yourself." Stella informs him, glancing at Saps to check if he was alright before moving on to ask Meagon a question.
There were a lot of chests in this area too. How interesting. Saps doesn't check though, they've probably been looted already by the others already.
His eyes scans the surrounding area with curiosity glinting in his eyes as he follows the group. It was fascinating, he wonders how deep does this facility actually go.
"Everybody come on here, it's gonna be safe and it's gonna be fine. " Stella says out loud, grabbing everyone's attention. Saps heads over to the front where Stella is.
There was another room but it was locked. It did have a window to peek in so it was nice but the mists beginning to appear inside was suspicious. "That's strange, what is that?" Saps takes a few steps back from the room emitting the mist.
"It's okay, it's just a little cleaning thing!" Stella explains to him as the door suddenly vanishes in a puff of smoke.
The mist from the inside began to spread, ultimately blowing away in their direction. The group began to enter the room, with their laid-back tone Saps thinks that it's safe.
"It's like a really nice shower!" Nobody commented emitting a slight laugh from him and soon after she began to laugh too. At least this place was somewhat sanitary.
Someone pushed the button in the middle of the room and the mist began to blow in the dispensers right above them, with that everyone seemed to stay still, letting themselves get cleaned.
Rotation was saying something but Saps couldn't process his thoughts to understand. The mist was difficult to breathe in. The others were speaking too but he didn't know what they were talking about, something about not showering and smelling.
A harsh, violent cough interrupts his thoughts. Saps realizes from the pain he was feeling was that he was the one coughing. He wheezes trying to breathe properly but all he could manage was to cough over and over again.
He can feel a hand patting his back firmly, eventually switching to rub his back in a circular motion, comforting him through the pain.
Saps eventually stops coughing, he swallows his saliva to clear his throat. Cold sweat soaks through his clothes and pale hair once again.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.. do that." He manages to find his voice though it did seem a little bit croaky.
Stella regains focus, continuing to pat his back but gently now. "No, no, it's okay! It was.. probably the mist that.." Her breath hitched, pausing for a quick moment. "..That made you cough, I think I still have some water left."
Saps nods his head, taking the water bottle from Stella, gulping it down in one go. In the corner of his eyes he can see the others exchanging worried glances. Saps feels uncomfortable with that.
"Let's just go, everyone!" Stella says when the other door bursts open, she takes Saps cold hands and pulling him with her.
. . .
Someone needs to pick up his jaw because what the fuck.
Saps freezes still, ultimately letting go of Stella's hands.
The whole place was enormous. Darkness practically swallowing it whole. The structures like the cranes was rusty and unkept. It looked like it was left to rot and mother nature was taking it back with how much vines and greens were around the area.
What caught his eye though was the alarming, massive nuclear bomb blending with the background. Oh gee, Saps wonders what it could be for.
He musters up the courage to ask them,"Is– is that a bomb over there?" He straightens his glasses, squinting even just to see if what he was seeing was right.
"I think so!" Rotation replies while passing by him. "It's either a reactor or a bomb.." Thomas adds, glancing back at Saps before going forward.
"We're not entirely really sure." Stella notices how the walkway was run down, she warns her companions. "Just watch your steps be careful."
"Where's Saps?" She asks, not noticing him right behind her. Saps taps her shoulders, letting her know that he was there. "Oh, watch your step, be careful"
"I just wanna make sure that you're fine." Stella murmurs to him, trying her best to not sound like she's holding back tears.
The walkway was split now, having people make a big jump to cross over. Stella cheers him on and Saps had successfully managed to get through the other side.
Saps follows Nobody's lead with Stella besides him. After a long time of walking and going up some stairs, they finally reached their destination.
