Summary
When Cambridge Rower Harry Potter puts off his course registration until the last minute, he ends up in Professor Tom Riddle's History and Culture of the Roman Empire course.
Professor Riddle is known for having incredibly high standards. But he also offers an extra credit simply for attending a little party—an bacchanal—at his house at the end of term. Many former students have depended on this to pass the class.
Except many of those former students have also died, all under strange circumstances within seven years of attending Riddle's bacchanal. It seems impossible that these events are connected, but Harry can't help his deep suspicion.
To find out the truth, Harry may have to join the feast himself.
