Work Text:
I know we don't really know each other and you probably have your opinions of me. I thought maybe if I told you how things were, we could change.
The truth is that I can't stop thinking about you. I'm crazy about you! But I know these feelings I have are wrong. It's not the way a boy should feel. Shame swallows me whole just thinking about it.
You are like the light in my darkness. In a sea of dark waves and sunken ships, you are a sunset. I know this letter probably comes as a shock, and I get that, I've been calling you names for years. But in truth, it's because you are putting me against God and my father's beliefs. It angers me of the feelings I feel when when you laugh. You are like a puppy who is being given a treat.
I know you think you are ugly, but you are the prettiest boy I have ever laid eyes on. I wish you could see yourself the way I do. I hope God is looking down and sees that I mean no harm, that I didn't mean for this to happen. I'll probably throw this away, anyways. I hate you for being so perfect. i hate that you make me go against my father's beliefs. I hate that I fell in love with you.
I love you, Sal Fisher.
