You wake up in the morning and you feel like coffee today because you don't have work. You get up after several long minutes of fighting your urge to stay in bed with your favorite plushie and the soft blankets. You pretend the weighted blanket you have is actually too heavy to lift for a moment and then giggle a little and sit up. You huff and pout as soon as you sit up because it's cold and the blankies- crap.
You figure its fine to ignore it today since you're not going to work today anyways. What could go wrong?
you decide to go the the nearby cafe since they have good coffee. by the time that you get to the cafe though, you just want a hot chocolate and a warm cookie. As you get into the cafe, you see Nicole and JC hanging out together. seems like they're on break at the moment.
You walk up to the counter and Husniya is there today. You have a bit of a love/hate relationship with her considering that she seems to know everytime that you're regressed even if no one else can tell. Sometimes, if she can see that you're stuggling a little to hold up the mask, she pushes you further without getting anyone else's attention somehow. You don't complain though, since she's extra nice to you when you come over.
You walk up and she immediately smiles at you. "hi... mmh.." you look at the menu, pretending to be thinking just a little so you can calm down. "Can I have a hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie?..."
She nods and starts tapping the screen. "Of course sweetheart, you can go ahead and sit down in one of the comfy chairs and I'll bring it to you." She turns the screen to you for you to pay and you blank for a second before reaching for your card.
Cyrus happens to be walking up to the front to make the drink as you pull out your card. "thanks.." you look down, feeling a little embarrassed that she caught you yet again. Cyrus looks a bit confused for a second as you go to sit down and puts the cookie in a little bag for me before quietly asking something to Bob.
Bob walks up to you slowly and sits next to you. "Good morning."
You look up to her, Husniya's actions having pushed your mask away, your eyes wide and innocent, like a child. "hi.."
Bob seems to notice your expression "are you ok?"
You nod softly and Husniya walks up to give you your hot chocolate and cookie, warmed a little for you. "Here you go, little one. let me know if you need anything." You pout a bit, noticing the she decided to push you further, your expression giving your cheeks a bit of a rounded look.
Upon seeing your face, Nicole starts typing on her laptop but she does that all the time so you don't really notice anything weird. Bob pats your shoulder softly "do you perhaps know why Husniya called you little one?" You nod and sip your hot chocolate slowly. "do you mind telling me?"
The coffee shop is pretty empty so Nicole turns her computer to you with an article pulled up. "Is it this?" you look over and its an article on age regression. you nod and look embarassed by this and Nicole glances at Bob "is it ok if I show Bob this?" You hesitate for a moment before nodding, hoping Bob isn't the type to make assumptions on half-baked information.
She turns it to Bob and she spends few minutes reading, most of the few customers to walk in being handled by Cyrus, Husniya, and JC. You watch Bob carefully and after a moment she looks a bit concerned "Are you ok to be out alone right now?"
You nod and mutter softly, your voice in a higher pitch then usual "I don' have a CG anyways.."
"Ah. Ok then. If you need anything, we're here, ok?" Bob stands and pats your head. You smile a bit, knowing now that the people of this cafe won't judge you for this. It feels nice knowing you have somewhere to go for a "little" time.
