Summary
The monster gnawing at the rabbit’s body feeds and devours like the greediest creature. In our world, monsters shouldn’t be real, but with the unluckiness of the rabbit, he shouldn’t be either. The rabbit knows where he is—the monster has let him know that much—and he knows he tastes good, so there, in that mind, he will stay.
