If someone asked, Shane would describe his life as perfectly fine and he would say that ultimately, he’s content with it. How can he not be? He’s one of the best hockey players in the world, he’s won two Stanley Cups, is an Olympian silver medalist, and has multiple other accolades stacked in his trophy room. He’s the Captain of a good hockey team and he has an okay teammate-boyfriend. He has no complaints about his life whatsoever. Shane’s life is normal and predictable and he likes it this way. He’s content where he is. He’s not settling. He tells himself this life, this relationship is enough for him. It has to be.
