Inspired by dust bowl by thathastu
I read this lovely fic by thathastu and it got me thinking. As a general thing across fandoms, I’ve noticed that most acceptance and self-discovery fics focus on transfem characters, while when transmasc characters are featured, they’re already transitioned and typically passing. This is probably because of the focus on male presenting characters in fandom. This brain worm with Rose hit me and forced me to write this before I could fall asleep and forget it lol
tw: character misgenders himself and has some internalized transphobia, but it’s because he hasn’t fully realized and accepted he’s a man and trans.
