Gemini and Ballora were told by the producers to pick up something from some dimension. That was everything that they were told.
”I don’t understand why some of the set guys couldn’t do this?!” Ballora had been complaining ever since they got to the dimension since the portal they took sent them far away from the location.
”Because, they wanted someone who they could trust and someone who’s a head figure of the midnight show. Also because we want other performing places to like us.” That was another thing that the producer said, make sure to make them like us.
”Eh okay… wait I feel like I’ve been on this street before.” Ballora and Gemini passed a McDonald’s that in front of it had a bunch of cars going back and forth, Ballora almost got hit. They continued walking until they arrived at the location. It was the Pizzaplex, specifically the one Ballora came from.
“Oh. Maybe that’s why we weren’t given much information.” Gemini said as they walked in. The place didn’t look any different than the day Ballora left.

Ballora had just woken up from a nap after today’s performance, but something felt off. She felt taller and she could feel her hair on her back.
”Oh my bun must’ve come out when I was sleeping.” She walked into her actual room and walked over to her vanity. She sat down, grabbed a hair tie, and looked in the mirror to put her hair up. She was different, her under hair was yellow and her eyes were a light blue instead of pink now. That’s extremely weird but she didn’t really mind she looked good. Ballora took the hair tie and tried putting her hair in a bun but it just came out instantly, she tried again and the same thing happened.
“Guess it’s a hair down day.” Ballora got up and walked out of her room. She walked to the stage area and saw everyone there.
”HEY GUYS!” She quickly walked over to the group who looked at her in confusion.
”I’m sorry lass do we know ya?” Captain asked, which confused Ballora a lot.
”Captain are you serious right now? I know I look different but come on.”
“Are you alright ma’am do you need to lie down?” Sharpey walked closer to Ballora.
”Sharpey come on it’s me, Ballora?” Monte got up from sitting on the stage.
“Look lady we don’t know you.” Ballora heart cracked a little from hearing that.
”If this is a prank I don’t like it!”
“Ma’am we’re not pranking you. Now if you could please leave, it’s closing hours.”
”I’m not leaving my home!” Captain gently grabbed Ballora by the shoulder. Ballora slapped him.
“DON’T TOUCH ME!” Suddenly Ballora felt some pain in her side and she was on the floor. Ballora got up slowly and looked towards the group. Monte had oil on her claws and Ballora’s side was bleeding.
”Now we won’t ask again. Leave!” Ballora felt her eyes tear up as she ran out of the pizzaplex. She was in the front when she collapsed. She was breathing heavy and full on sobbing. She was on the ground for a while until she thought she could call someone. Ballora took out her phone but it was dead. In anger she threw it. She sat in front of the entrance for a while until a digital pop up appeared in front her advertising astral city.

“BALLORA!” Gemini’s shout made Ballora jump.
“Sorry, I was in my thought were you saying something?” Gemini sighed.
”I was saying I think someone should come out with the thing in a second.” Ballora started getting nervous, what if they still don’t remember her?
”Hey are you here for this thing for the midnight show?!” Gemini and Ballora turned to Monte who was walking up to them with a note in one hand and a flashlight in the other.
“Yes that’s us.” Gemini took the items. Monte looked straight at Ballora and looked angry.
”You again?” Ballora slumped a bit, that gave her the answer to her question.
”Yup I work for the midnight show.” Ballora turned away from Monte towards the entrance and started walking to it with tears in her eyes.
”Wait, Ballora read this.” Ballora took the note which said hope this suffices as a good gift - E. Gemini was holding the flashlight then out of nowhere flashed it at Monte.
”OW!” Monte stepped back holding her eyes.
”Gemini what the heck?!” Gemini shushed Ballora and pointed at Monte who was looking at Ballora.
”Ballora?” Ballora started to smile and ran to hug Monte.
“You remember me!”
“I remember you?” Monte was confused by what she meant.
“Well I’ll let you two talk while I make the other two remember you” Gemini walks away.
Few minutes later
“EXCUSE ME?!”
“Yea titan made you guys forget about me and also changed what I looked like to make sure you didn’t remember. BUT he’s dead now so we won’t have to deal with him anymore.”
”Wow.. I mean okay. Wait did he hurt you at all?” Ballora looked down at her side and slowly lifted her shirt up to reveal a scar mark that’s looked like an animal claw mark.
“Oh god he did that?”
”No… it was you.” Monte stepped back a bit with a face of shock.
”What…”
“I was getting agitated and slapped Captain then you were just trying to get me away from him.”
”No Ballora that’s too far, I’m sorry Ballora I shouldn’t have done that.”
”It’s not your fault you had forgotten me and I was getting aggressive.” Monte hugged Ballora.
”I’m sorry…” Ballora and Monte hug for a while. Monte pulled away.
”Now can I ask about this show thing.” Ballora chuckled a little. Gemini and the other two came back.
”They remember you now so now we can go.” Gemini was basically already out the door when saying this.
”Well, I got to go back now.” Ballora started to walk away.
”Wait, can’t you stay here.”
“Monte, I’m happy you remember me and I love you, but astral city has been my life for a year and it’s been great. I’ll make sure we stay in contact and I’ll visit and you can visit me whenever.” Ballora kissed Monte on her forehead and started to walk away.
”I’ll see you later.” Monte smiled and waved as Ballora and Gemini disappeared.
