For Chapter 1, revisiting Toad Town would allow you to complete quests for some of the NPC’s and..
Do the cooking contest again!
Hazelnut can finally win!
If the cooking contest is a little minigame like I planned, it would be more difficult. If it’s just a cutscene then you can choose which recipe Hazel makes for the judges! The more rare the better the chances of winning!
The other partners would be in the audience as well, cheering Hazel on! YEAH GO HAZEL!!!
This secret boss isn’t really a secret. It happens if Hazel wins the contest.
(There would be a full heal and save point before the contest. That’s a warning of what is to come)
Also before we get to the boss, I want to inform you that Payce T is okay! Despite what happened to her, nothing seemed to have affected her health.
She’s still traumatized, but even that won’t stop her from still participating in the contest. Girl is THAT committed to beating Hazel.
So Hazel does the contest and wins!! Yippee!!! Happy cheering!!! YEAHHHH!!
However, before the judges could give her the reward…
Payce T screams in frustration.
She immediately shouts at Hazel for winning. SHE was supposed to win! Not HER! Hazel obviously brags and tells her she won fair and square.
Payce T grabs her pan and swings it at Hazel. The audience gasps! Fortunately, Hazel dodges it.
“Oh you want a fight?”
Hazel tells her.
“Then I’ll give you one”
Payce T boss battle!! Rematch!!!
Mario and Luigi unfortunately fall in the middle of this and they have to fight too.
For each secret boss, I want to give each of them a gimmick. The audience watching the fight are always going to get involved!
Payce T doesn’t have that much health, but she can block moves with her pan. She also knows martial arts moves.
(Her grandma is Tayce T, but that also means she is related to Zess T and the Master…)
Everytime the audience is about to throw something at Mario and the gang, she steals it! She cooks it and makes a weapon or food item for herself!
She can cook up any item..
She can also start a fire that scares away the entire audience! Preventing both you and her from being affected by the audience.
The way that she blocks each move might make you think that hitting her directly would be impossible, but there are ways to get past it.
Hitting it enough times would break it! However, it does take a while to break. The faster way is to overwhelm and distract her.
In order to overwhelm her, you have to hit her with a bunch of moves at the same time, like a multi hit move. This would make her really nervous and tense. It would also make her desperate. So if by any chance one of the audience members holds out a bomb….
The dish blows up in her face! And she is stunned for a turn and she can’t dodge any moves until then.
You hit her with all you got and she is defeated!
Payce T would sit on the floor with her arms crossed, embarrassed and upset that she lost.
Before they were rudely interrupted, Gourmar tells Hazelnut that she won!!! All the partners and Mario and Luigi would cheer for her!! YAY!!!
