Summary
In 1992, a parahuman later assigned as 'Metamorphose' triggered somewhere in Japan's third largest island, Kyushu, with a tinker power that's speculated to be specialized in mutation. Not much is known about them since their records were lost during the Island's sinking like so many others. What is known is that they were directly responsible for conducting an experiment in 1994 that resulted the release of spores that a large number of the general population was exposed to, causing exponential mutations. In the span of the first week an estimated 20% of the island's population was given ‘extreme physical capabilities’ being about four to seven times stronger and faster than a normal person at the cost of making them unable to digest any other type of food other than humans and other mutated individuals.
