   Summary

   In the immediate aftermath of Caine's sudden demise, the circus members must contend with their rapidly decaying digital world as well as the wounds the ringmaster inflicted upon them just before deletion, both physical and mental.

   While patching each other up, Pomni and Ragatha talk about what Caine put them through, what they endured in the past, and what comes next, deepening their bond and kindling a spark of something that might be more than just friends being friends in the process…but there’s no time to foster romance when disaster strikes, and the circus members discover what happens when their cartoon bodies sustain very real injuries.
