Onyn stepped on to the ice as he said "We have to keep going. I'll lead the way."
He had crossed this ice road before so it shouldn't be that much of a trouble.
Onyn only had a second to react to the sound of the ice cracking before he was plunged into the ice cold water.
The shock of the ice cold water hit him and he was unconscious in less than a second.
Chikn noticed Onyn's unconscious body disappear beneath the water and raced over to save him.
He dove in and saw that Onyn was sinking and fast.
Chikn quickly swam to him and held him close as he swam to the surface.
Chikn swam to shore and placed Onyn on the ground.
He remembered what Cheezborger taught him about what to do when someone goes under the water.
Chikn blushed when he remembered mouth to mouth resuscitation.
He had to do it to save Onyn.
He wouldn't be able to live with himself if Onyn died.
So, he opened Onyn's mouth slightly, sucked in a good amount of air and quickly pressed his mouth against Onyn's mouth to blow the air into Onyn's lungs.
As soon as Chikn's mouth left Onyn's, Onyn started coughing up the water that had entered his lungs (which thankfully wasn't much).
Onyn looked at Chikn and said "Thanks for saving me."
Chikn, meanwhile, felt like he had just been hit with cupid's arrow.
Onyn Ring seemed to be surrounded by sparkles.
Something about the way Onyn smiled at him make Chikn's heart race in the best way possible.
Chikn tried to suppress his blush as he said "You're welcome."
Chikn then found some planks to make a raft. He focused on making the raft with Onyn, trying so hard not to focus on Onyn right now.
Not with these feelings bubbling inside him.
