Summary
This story follows the Hrothgar monk Panda as a fleeting moment of hard-won peace at Camp Broken Glass is violently shattered by the Ascian Fandaniel, who abducts her and delivers her into the clutches of her ultimate stalker, Zenos yae Galvus. Imprisoned deep within the ominous obsidian walls of the Tower of Babil, Panda is subjected to a brutal, violation of her bodily autonomy as Zenos relentlessly uses physical intimacy to stoke her hatred and break her warrior's spirit. The psychological horror deepens when Fandaniel uses illicit means to rip Panda's soul from her flesh, forcing her into a clumsy, borrowed body while Zenos commandeers her own form to slaughter her allies. Fighting through an agonizing, desperate race against time in a foreign shell, Panda manages to reach the camp just as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn realize they are harboring an imposter. Though a final, chaotic confrontation restores Panda to her true self, she collapses into darkness under the weight of the violation, haunted by the apocalyptic awakening of the primal Anima and a profound, lingering warning from the great dragon Vrtra about the terrible attrition her storm-like existence wreaks upon those she loves.
