(See the end of the work for notes.)

Chapter 1: A Gift from Seven Lucky Fortunes

Chapter Text

Hello everyone and welcome to the first chapter of our new story, ‘Danmachi: Is it Wrong to have a Chaos Gacha in the Dungeon?’. With me again is my friend and co-writer, Darklord331.

Dark: Hello everyone, it's a pleasure meeting all of you here.

I know we said we wanted to get the next chapter of Alchemy Hero worked on… But me and Dark got stuck with the Chaos Gacha System bug. Me with this story and Dark with another he thought of.

Dark: It was during one of our weekly breaks (We go on breaks some times a week or so from writing, helps us to keep our minds relaxed from constant writing and ideas) and we stumbled on a growing trend within FF called Chaos Gacha.

FF and AO3. And I got how this might work from the story ‘Is It Wrong to Summon Waifus in the Dungeon’ by PoetIbn, go check it out, it’s a great story. Anyways, shall we get into this? I want to see what Bell pulls.

Dark: We sure can! Disclaimer please?

Alright. We do not own Danmachi or any other franchise the Gacha Spins us, as well as characters and such. We only own our OCs and changes to the story. Now, shall we?

Dark: We shall, now LETS SEE WHAT LUCK TURNS FOR ME! (Pulls down a slot machine lever) COME ON! COME ON! DADDY NEEDS A NEW HOME! COME O-(Slot turns to sore loser as it opens)

BAM!

(Opens up a spring boxing glove and knocks Dark out)

(Light/Xara looks to see the Slot Machine was from ACME) … Okay, you had that one coming from getting something from THEM.

Chapter 1: A Gift from Seven Lucky Fortunes

(Genkai)

In the World of Danmachi, there were two realms: The Human World - Tenkai and the World of Gods - Genkai.

Currently inside of Genkai, the realm of the gods. Seven Lucky Gods were in a meating…

“LIKE HELL I’LL ALLOW IT!”

And were, ironically, having no luck in getting their idea passed. Inside of the great big Dark/Abyss temple, the Elder god of Darkness and the living Abyss, claud in his dark/purple robe shouted to the Seven Lucky Gods.

“Come on! You have to consider i-”

“Oh I’ve considered it. In fact it is a great idea.”

“Really?”

“NO! THAT WAS SARCASM!” Dark shouted to the Lucky Gods.

“But we are just trying to help the Mortals, the gods said that we would disrupt the balance of luck if we went down,” one of the seven said. “And we have seen how Fray and Loki have been doing jack and didily while in comsand and how adventures now are not as they were before Zues and Hera’s Familia’s fell.”

“I don't care what happens down there. You want me and my associate to create this idea of yours, a lottery system called Chaos Gacha that will be connected to the Omniverse itself and give it to a mortal?”

“Well Eros did that with his System-”

“LIKE HELL I’M GONNA FOLLOW THAT PERVERTED DIAPER LOVE GOD EXAMPLE!”

“I told you not to bring him up!” one of the seven dope slapped the other lucky god.

“Do you have ANY idea, ANY IDEA at all, on who could have that type of power? Unless you give me a good reason I’m leaving.”

“Uhhhhhh, one of the candidates we had in mind is…………. Zeus’ adopted grandson.”

“We’ve seen what kind of skill he gets in multiple futures, literally LUCK.”

“Where did you get this candidate's idea?”

“From the primordial goddess Gaia.” One of them answered to Dark. “She recommended him to us.”

“And we know if we do this, we won’t be able to go to Tenkai, but since all of us Lucky gods have been prohibited from going down there, we decided to try and bring luck to the good side, and help people get their asses in gear.”

Dark hummed and thought it over, normally he would refuse to agree with their idea but the candidate they spoke of was from Gaia’s recommendation. She never would lie to him or to his associates ‘cause she can sense every intention, mind and soul within the world and knows who has the purest soul or the foulest soul within her world. If she recommended him to the Lucky gods, then that means they must be one of Gaia’s chosen.

“Light, what do you think? Give me your answer.”

A being that looked like an Angel appeared out of a portal of light, his eyes covered in a cloth of red.

“I think it has merit. I have seen multiple versions of the boy they speak of. He is a kind hearted boy with a pure white soul, and a dream of becoming a hero like the legends of old… but also save girls in the dungeon due to Zeus putting the idea in his head.”

“That bastard is always one of the perverted Gods there is.” Dark grumbled under his breath. “But do you think he’s worthy?”

“I believe he is, yes.” Light said, smiling. “He’s actually a lot more worthy than the ace of Loki’s Familia. She is a good kid, but would try to use it to get herself more power to kill the One eyed Dragon. Bell… he would do it, but would help people with the skills he’d get.”

“Very well, then. We shall go with your idea.”

“Thank you Lord Dark and Lord Light!” One of the lucky gods thanked the Elder Gods. “You won’t regret it!” They thanked them, heading to send their blessing to Tenkai.

(Tenkai: City of Orario)

“I…………I made it…….” a young boy with white hair, red eyes and normal clothing, though some would compare him to a rabbit, walked to the gates of Orario, The Dungeon City. He did have to pay to get in, but he didn’t mind. He was here to become a hero, fight monsters… and save women like the stories his grandfather had told him.

“Don’t worry grandpa. I’ll become a great hero, and I’ll make you proud.” Bell said, looking at the city before him. Just before he could head into the city.

[Ding! Congratulations Host! You have been chosen!]

“Huh? What the?!” Bell was surprised when a screen appeared before him.

[You have been chosen by the graces of the Seven Gods of Luck and Fortune. You have been blessed to wield one of the most useful, if your luck is high enough, powers out there, the Chaos Gacha.]

“What? Chaos Gacha? What is that?” Bell is confused what it meant by being chosen by the Chaos Gacha. And did it say the Seven Gods of Luck? … Bell wasn’t sure to be excited or concerned that he caught the attention of Gods already when he just arrived in Orario. … Though it did feel like the start of a hero’s journey.

[The Chaos Gacha is a system that gives special abilities, traits, items, skills, familiars;  anything that can be obtained.]

“Woah! It can even give me skills?” Bell said with amazement in his eyes. “I thought that grandpa said that skills can be obtained through a Falna and by performing acts in the Dungeon."

[While that is true, you can also gain them through the Gacha by gaining ‘tickets’, which are magical conjured ones that will appear when you want to roll, feats you can earn you one based on the action, and how rare the ticket is. There are 8 types: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Legendary, Mythical and Divine. The more impressive the act is, the better the ticket, and the better the prize. And Sense you made to Orario at the age of 14, you gained one.]

[Feat Achieved! You arrived in Orario at the age of 14! + 1 Silver Random Ticket!]

Bell could see the ticket appear in his mind’s eye.

“Woah! I got a ticket already? And I can use this?”

[Anytime as the user wishes. Now that the system has explained its function, it will go onto semi-active function. The rest is up to you Host, good luck.]

After that, the screen dematerialized, Bell looked at the system and to the city, soon looking up at the sky.

Looking up toward the heavens with an expression of pure joy, Bell called out to the sky. “Gods of Luck and Fortune... I am so incredibly thankful that you have chosen to bless me like this. I hardly have the words to express my gratitude.” Filled with appreciation for the gift of the Chaos Gacha, he continued his declaration to the gods. “I may not understand why this favor was bestowed upon me, but I give you my word: I will cherish this gift forever. I will rise to become a magnificent hero, and I swear I won’t let you or my grandfather down! I promise you this!” Bell declared before heading to the Orario city. Wondering which Familia he can join, maybe he can find any Gods that are willing to take him in.

How hard will it be?

… He shouldn’t have tempted fate…

“Sorry we’re not taking any Familia members.”

“You want to join us? Hah! Fat chance kid! Drink more milk and grow up before you can join us!”

“I apologize, I’m afraid it is not possible to join us. I have enough Familia members, however I can recommend you to another who could take you in.”

“Nope!”

“Get out of here.”

“Get lost runt.”

“Come back when you actually prove you are worthy of joining us.”

“Sorry, we only take females… Even if you are cute.”

“Sorry, we would, but you don’t have the right skills we’re looking for…”

“I am Ganesh!”

“.........What?” Bell asked, looking lost… and the Familia members looked like they were hoping he didn’t join so he wouldn’t have to deal with their god’s antics.

(At the streets)

Dark clouds were above Bell as he curled up like a ball and had an anime sad expression on his face. A week of looking… his funds running low… and rejected by 40 fmilias… The worse part of it all…

[Feat Achieved! Get rejected by 40 Familias…! + 1 Gold Random Ticket]

How’s he gonna be a great hero if no one will take him in? Just when he thought luck was blessing him.

Speaking off, he didn’t have the chance to use his Chaos Gacha.

“Maybe if I use this………… I could get some good skills-”

“Excuse me young man,” came a female voice that caught his attention. “Are you okay?”

The girl was a beautiful and petite Goddess with a youthful appearance. She has blue eyes and mid-thigh length black hair tied into twin-tails which reach down to her mid-thighs. She has a small frame, measuring only 140cm (4' 7"), which further emphasizes her rather large chest.

Bell could tell that this wasn’t a girl, but a goddess from the feel of her alone.

“Uhhhhh, H-Hello there.” Bell stuttered to her. “W-What brings y-you here Goddess-Sama?”

“I was coming from my home and setting up a stall.” she said to Bell. “What are you doing here?”

“.........Would you believe me that nearly every Familia rejected me?”

“Its not that common to be rejected. A lot of them getting rejected by 5 or 10 Familia. How many did they reject you?”

“I got rejercted… by........... 40….”

“40?” Her eyes shot up in surprise. “And they all reject you?”

“Yes.” Bell curled up again with an anime sad expression. “They say I’m either too weak, too young, or something else… I was just a farmer boy before coming here… so that should count for something… It’s good work out… though I might not be good if I don’t have a weapon to fight with…” Bell let out a sigh, slumping his head. “And here I thought being blessed by the Luck gods would help me…” He muttered quietly, but not quietly enough that the Goddess heard him.

“Wait, what!?” the Goddess Squacked in shock. “What do you mean Blessed by the Luck Gods?”

Bell blushed in surprise and shock that he was overheard. “... Uh… Well… You see…” Bell said, scratching his cheek in embarrassment.

(One Explanation Later)

The Goddess, now known as Hestia, Goddess of Hearth and Home, looked at Bell in shock and bewilderment. He had not lied about what he was saying, sense go and goddess could tell when people were and Bell was erroneous in his voice, and that made it all the more concerning. Normally Gods who gave a Blessing would not be allowed to come to Teinkai due to the rules. If those rules were broken then a divine enforcer will be summoned and punish the Gods for their action and be banned from coming to Tenkai.

If he’s got a blessing from Gods of Luck. Then that means they must have permission to allow them to use their Arcanum to bless him. And they all rejected him?!

“Who would be stupid to reject you? I mean did you tell them?”

“I did but they didn’t believe me, said my luck isn’t even that great and thought I was exaggerating.” Bell said to Hestia.

“Well that's just stupid, why would they reject you if you have a great gift.” Hestia said with an annoyed tone. “So what are you gonna do?”

“I’m thinking of using this new skill I get. I wonder what I would get if I use my skills. Maybe something that will help me get into a Familia.” Bell said to Hesita.

“Well, why not test it then? Let's see what it can do!” Hestia said to Bell, encouraging him.

Bell did so, used his first spin which was a Silver ticket spin. A Silver Ticket Forming out of Bell’s Hand as it ripped in two.

(Light: (Spitanks) HOLY SHIT! HE GOT THAT!? AS A SILVER RANDOM TICKET!? Dark: Now that's what I call a lucky roll!)

Bell and Hestia blinked from what Bell read out loud to her. “T-That could help me against monsters that use mind manipulation/memory altering powers… can’t it?” Bell asked Hestia.

“Are you kidding me? This would be very useful!” Hestia said to Bell with exaggeration. “Do you know what adventures would do to obtain this type of skill? It's very useful against not just monsters but adventurers who have illusion powers! You're basically a mental brick wall to them!”

“And this was a Silver Ticket, what would a Golden Ticket I have get me?”

“Well, pull it and see what you get,” Hestia encouraged her soon to be first Familia Member.

“Ok.” Bell summoned the Gold Ticket, its astral projection forming out of Bell’s Hand like the silver one, as it ripped in two.

(Light: … D-Did… Did bell… Just get… A Stand for Navigation… Something useful in the Dungoen…? Dark: I think so Light: … I’m scared to find out what he’d get next with his luck already…)

“......... D-Did you just get… A familiar… that can let you basically get anywhere in Orario, the Dungoen… or even the whole world….?” Hestia asked, knowing that not only Goddess would want Bell just for his powers alone… but also adventures that were unsavory as well…

“... And maybe control Magic Stone powered items ....” Bell added, smiling at Hestia sheepishly. “But is that important?”

“Bell, were you hit in the head when you were a kid?”

“..............No.”

“OF COURSE IT’S FREAKING IMPORTANT!” Hestia got to Bell and shook him with a wide fanatic expression. “DO YOU KNOW THAT ADVENTURERS WOULD PAY AN ARM AND A LEG TO HAVE THAT TYPE OF FAMILIAR AND SKILL? EVEN GODS WOULD PAY MILLIONS, THEIR ENTIRE SAVINGS FOR THIS SKILL! YOU COULD KNOW WHERE TO AVOID MONSTER! KNOW ABOUT HIDDEN TREASURE AREAS! FIND UNKNOW LOCATIONS IN THE DUNGOEN! THOSE ALONE WOULD MAKE A FORTUNE FOR THAT!”

“... Should I also mention that this Familiar is actually soul bound to me now…? And that only people call a Stand, or God like you, can see, and be like a skill…?” Bell asked after Hestia stopped shaking him.

Hestai had a blank look on her face after hearing that.

“Right nevermind.”

“Bell, you’d be THE most important person in the ENTIRE world! People will come all over the world to hire you as their navigator! Not only that, as a spy to kill people if you CAN control Magic Stone Tech like your… Stand was it?” Hestia asked Bell who nodded in the affirmative. “Yes, well, they could want to hire you to use your Stand to make appliances malfunction and kill people and make it look like accedents… Hell, they might not hire you, they might just KIDNAP you and force you to do so.”

Bell paled at the concept. “WHH-WHHAAATT?! KIDNAP OR KILL ME?! Why?”

“Bell, mapping is the most important thing in the entire world! People have to get maps in the dungeon if they want to navigate through each floor without getting lost. Half of them died because they got lost or had no where to go! People pay top notch money for navigators and maps but the major issue is that the dungeon keeps changing and every time it changes, navigators risk their lives to memorize the road!”

Bell looked confused at that. “... But Grandpa told me that the Guild sells maps. Shouldn’t they buy them there?”

“Yes, but maps of the LOWER FLOOR are harder to come by… YOU could create them without even having SEEN THEM or gone that far down!”

Bell looked spooked, and summoned his summoned stand to his side to look at it.

Paisley Park is a humanoid Stand of a feminine figure, appearing two-dimensional by occupying the place of Bell’'s shadow on the ground. It has a hairstyle that looked like it was in multiple ponytails, and a blank face save for one round eye on its right with three bold eyelashes, and a semi-functioning mouth underneath what would be its skin. Its face and body are covered by various road map symbols, all of them of the City of Orario right now.

“Sweet antlers tits of Primordial Gaia!” Hestia shouted in shock and awe. “You have the entire map of Orario by now!”

“Well, I did scout out other Familia if they were recruiting.” Bell said to Hestia.

“Bell.” Hestia said to Bell with a serious expression. “Under no circumstances are you to tell ANYONE about not just your ability but also your Chaos Gacha powers. When they realize what type of power you have, they will stop at nothing to do whatever means to rip it out of you, especially your map ability. Do not reveal your map abilities OR your Chaos Gacha unless you trust them.”

Bell gulped. “C-Can Gods actually do that, sense they don’t have their powers and all…?”

“Do you want to find out, or even work for a morally corrupted Familia?” she asked, a bit of anger leaking in from how some Familia’s treat their children, being she was the goddess of Hearth and Home.

She then took a deep breath and calmed herself. She then turned to Bell and said, “Bell Cranel, I, Goddess Hestia, am looking for members to join my Familia. Will you be my first member and join the Hestia Familia?”

“Wait, really?!” Bell was taken back by Hestia offer.

“Of course, like you I’ve been trying to find people to join my Familia but it's been hard due to the gods poaching adventurers.” Hestia grumbled under her breath. “So, would you like to join my Familia?”

“I’d………. I’d be honored to Goddess Hestia!” Bell said to Hestia with excitement and joy on his expression.

“Then, welcome Bell, and thank you for being my first child~” Hestia thanked him with a smile.

Just then, Bell got a notification.

[Feat Achieved! Create The Hestia Familia! + 1 Gold Trait Ticket]

“G-Goddess! I-I got another Golden Ticket!”

“You did? Just by joining my Familia?” Hestia was taken aback by what happened. “Quickly! Roll it again and see what you get!” She said to him, Bell did so and rolled again. The Golden Trait ticket appearing and ripping like the last two.

The Gold Ticket fixed itself and re-ripped again, since Bell had no Tinker abilities, whatever those were, surprising both Bell and Hestia.

“Well at least you won’t have to worry about getting dirty anymore.” Hestia said to him.

“Not just myself, but I know what herbs and medicinal items to use to make good cleaners and hair products for you and myself,” Bell stated. “As well as what medications to create to keep germs and bacteria away.”

“Amazing! This is a useful skill Bell!” Hestia said to Bell with amazement. “And if this skill can go into Potion Crafting, I know a friend that can teach you. And we can help sell the skin care and hair care products with the medication and potions.”

“I-I guess so.”

“Come on Bell! Let's head to your new home!” Hestia said to him, grabbing his hand and dragging him with her.

“Oh boy! I wonder where I’ll be staying!”

(Ruins Area of Orario: Church)

“This……………. isn’t what I had in mind.” Bell sweatdrops from what he saw. An old rundown church in front of him.

Hestia looked sheepish. “I know it’s not much to look at, but it was given to me by a friend to be the start of my Familia. The Basment is still livable.”

“I………. guess it's not that bad.” Bell said with a sweatdrop. “Heros do start out somewhere…”

[Feat Achieved! Acquire a Familia Home! +1 Silver Familiar ticket!]

“Ohhhh! Let's see what kind of ticket you get!” Hestia spoke with excitement.

Just then, what looked like a living, for lack of a better term sense it was A Ghost Type Pokemon, sword with a shield appeared in front of the two.

“Aegislash,” the Pokemon said, looking at Bell and bowing to its new Trainer.

“A familiar that’s both a sword and a shield? That's amazing, Bell!” Hestia spoke to Bell with amazement. “Now you won’t have to worry about getting a weapon for yourself!”

“Honestly, I’m more used to using daggers.” Bell spoke with hesitation making Aegislash lower itself in sadness. “But I guess a new change of weaponry won’t be that bad.” Bell said with a smile, making Aegislash look up to its master with a happy expression. “Guess you and I are partners then. You already know my name but my name is Bell Cranel. I hope we work together as a team rather than a familiar Aegislash.” Bell said while putting his hand out to Aegislash.

“Aeg!” Aegislash shouted, saluting to Bell.

“And I’m Hestia! His Goddess!” Hestia introduced herself to Aegislash. “You're gonna be with my Familiar from now on so I want you to make sure Bell is safe and sound! I don’t want him to get hurt because of you! I don't know what you are but as long as you're with Bell, keep him safe or else if something happens to him. It doesn’t matter who you are, I will unleash my arcanum on you and send you to Hepheastus, she sure likes studying a live sword and shheeeeiIIILLLLDDDDDD!” Hestia suddenly screamed when Aegislash whipped out its cloth-like arm to Hestia and Hestia felt her energy was drained which hurt a lot. “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GET OFF! GET OFF OF ME!” Hestia runs around while trying to get Aegislash off of her. “BELL! TELL YOUR DEMON SWORD TO GET OFF OF ME-OOOWWWW!”

“Uhhhhh! A-Aegis! P-Please stop what you're doing!”

“Aegis!”

“AAAAAAAAHHHHH! HE CAN’T HEAR YOU!”

“I-I think you're shouting too loud Goddess!”

“GET THIS DEMON SWORD OFF OF MEEEEEEEE!”

(Later)

Hestai was slumped in the old couch in the church basement, drained from not only Bell’s Aegislash draining her, but from all the crazy her first Familia Member new blessing and powers gave him.

After Bell had Aegislash calm down and stop attacking his new Goddess, and scolding them for doing so, Bell had his shirt off to have his new Falna to be applied.

“Are you feeling better, Goddess Hestia?” Bell asks her, looking sheepish at what his Pokemon, if he remembered correctly as what they were called as a creature, did to her.

“I’m fine, Bell,” Hestia said, finally feeling better and standing up. She smiled warmly at him. “Thank you for worrying about me though. And for carrying me inside.” She was now blushing, remembering Bell carrying her Bridale Style.

“It’s the least I could do, Goddess,” Bell said.

Hestia smiled. She then pointed to the couch. “Okay Bell, lay down on the couch, your back facing me.”

Bell nodded and did as told.

Hestia then got a knife out, Aegislash glaring at her in suspicion.

Hestia gave the sentient ghost blade a flat look. “Oh stop it, I would never dream of hurting Bell,” Hestia stated, as she cut her finger. She then held the cut finger over Bell’s Back, as a drop of golden blood landed on his back. When it did, a light of blue shined off Bell’s back as an intricate drawing of a fire Pedital appeared on his back, with a lounge only the gods and a few mortals could read.

Hestia smiled, then took a plan piece of paper and transferred a copy of their information onto it so Bell could read it.

“Alrighty Bell, you’re all set~! Would you like to see your stats?” She asked Bell.

Bell eagerly sat up, excitement in his eyes. “I would Goddess~”

Hestia gave Bell the piece of parchment as Bell Egerly looked over it.

“WHAT?! YOU DON’T HAVE ANY MAGIC SLOT?! THAT’S AN OUTRAGE!” Hestia shouted in anger. “I DEMAND COMPENSATION FROM THIS DAMN SYSTE-oh wait I forgot. It also gives you abilities.” Hestia then immediately calmed down when she remembered what Chaos Gacha can do as well.

“Uh… Goddess… It says I have a Limitless Amount of Spells…” Bell corrected her. “I think it means I don’t have a Spell Limitation to have ONLY three spells if I ever learn magic. Which I’m really hoping for.”

Hestia blinked and looked at the paper again… and her jaw dropped in realization. “Bell… Do you know HOW rare it is to have someone that can BYPASS that limitation…?” Hestia asked him slowly.

“... I guess it's very rare?”

“There have only been THREE people recorded that could do that!” Hestia shouted. “Bell, you are becoming a bigger target by the second. If word got out about this, our Familia would be crushed and you might get forced into someone ELSE Familia!”

“... I’m starting to think my luck is mixed…” Bell said, looking pale.

Hestia gave him a flat look. “I’m starting to think so as well…”

“It would, Bell, this would be incredibly useful.” Hestia agreed with Bell. “But remember, never tell your abilities to anyone! Do you understand Bell?”

Bell nodded. “I understand Hestia. I might be excited about getting these skills… But I don’t want our Familia getting disbanded by a more powerful one in less than a week…”

“At least your new skill is letting you see reason~” Hestia teased him playfully.

“With all these new skills, I think it's time to finally venture into the dungeon.” Bell said to Hestia.

“Before you do that Bell, you need to first register at the guild.” Hestia told him.

“Oh, right,” Bell said, smiling sheepishly. “Guess I got excited to go exploring. … Huh, I wonder if I can get maps of the first few levels of the dungeon so I can add the information to Paisley Park? It might know some of the locations, not sure if that’s true, but I want to make sure I know where I’m at inside the Dungeon."

“At least you're taking your safety seriously, Bell,” Hestia stated, smiling at him. “I want to see you home alive.”

Bell smiled at Hestia. “I will, Goddess Hestia. I’ll do my hardest to come back to you~” Those words make Hestia’s Heart skip a beat.

‘Is this… what love feels like…?’ Hestai thought to herself.

Bell blinked at the feat he got… then twice… then a third time… before… “EEEEEEEEH!?” he shouted in shock, starting Hestia and Aegislash.

“B-Bell!?” Hestia cried in worry. “A-Are you okay!?”

“I-I-I-I-I…” Bell stuttered, his face turning tomato red. “I just got another Platinum Ticket….” He finally managed to get out.

“Oh… I thought it was som-”

“I’M ROLLING IT NOW!” Bell shouted in embarrassment. Hestia was surprised at how flustered Bell was.

Name: Hashirama Cells

Description:

Naruto - A vial containing the living cells of Hashirama Senju, due to the sheer potency of Hashirama's genetics if you successfully manage to implant these cells in your body, they will increase your vitality and energy reserves considerably. Not only that but they also grant you considerable passive regenerative ability that consumes your energy.]

Just then, the vial of cells appeared in Bell’s hand.

“What did you get Bell?”

“Some sort of vial that contains cells of someone's genetics.” Bell said to Hestia in confusion. “But I don’t know how I can implant them, in fact I don’t even know how I can use them?” He said in confusion.

“Hmmmmm, maybe you can find a healer who could help with implanting them.” Hestia suggested. “But the problem is they are quite pricey.”

“Well… I was planning to make Skin and Hair Products to sell at your friend’s client, so I might have them do it if they can,” Bell said, thinking over it. He then shook his head. “But right now, I think you should hold onto them for safety, Goddess Hestia.” He handed the vial to her. “I can’t carry this around and have it get damaged or stolen.”

Hestia was surprised. “You’d really trust me with this?”

Bell smiled at her. “I do, Goddess~ You gave me my chance to follow my dream~ It’s only fair I trust you with guarding this for me until I can use it.”

Hestai’s cheeks turned red from blushing at Bell’s honesty and trust. It made it so she could be a better goddess for him, to work just as hard to support their new Familia. She took the vial and placed it in a secret hidden morder brick where she keeps her funds from her job, and put it back.

“Thank you Bell, for trusting in me~” Hestia thanked him, turning around and smiling warmly at him.

Bell smiled back at her.

Aegislash then pulled Bell’s arm, pointing in the direction of the Guild, telling him to hurry up before the guild closes for the day. If it closes, then he has to wait for tomorrow. Bell Quickly got his shirt back on.

“Ok, I’m off Goddess!” Bell said to Hestia.

“Good luck Bel-!”

“Wait!” Bell suddenly remembered something. “Uhhhh, how can I hide my skills if they want to see my Falna?”

“Don’t worry about that! Watch!” Hestia said to him, getting his Falna papers and making some adjustments. “There we go!” She handed him the Falna paper back, and she then hid his Falna on his back.

[Aegislash]

  • A flying ancient sentient sword and shield combo, Aegilash is remarkably fast and strong, being able to cleave an armoured knight in half with ease, they are also capable of blocking incredibly strong attacks, as well as being able to use dark magic. Their master can wield Aegislash without incurring any problems.

“Huh, useful.” Bell said, as he rolled up the parchment and put it in his bag.

“Yup! Us Gods can hide their Familia’s ability from prying eyes if their Familia ability does not wish to be made in public.” Hestia said to Bell. “So its a useful trick we have.”

“Many thanks Goddess.”

“Now go on to the guild before they close Bell!” She reminded him, waving him off.

(Tower of Orario: Guild Hall)

“Next.” A woman behind the receptionist desk spoke out, calling out the next person. She is a beautiful Half Elf with a slim body, pointy ears, shoulder-length brown hair, and emerald colored eyes. She wears the uniform of the Guild consisting of a black vest over a white blouse with a black bow around the collar, black slacks along with a pair of black dress socks as well as a pair of thickly heeled, black boots. This was Eina Tulle.

Bell walked up to her, smiling. “Hello. My name is Bell Cranel, and I’m here to register as both an Adventurer and the First Guildmember of a Familia I helped found,” He informed the Half Elf woman, smiling warmly at her.
“I see, what is this new Familia and your God's patreon?” Eina asked him.

“The Hestia Familia, and my Goddess is of the Hearth and Home,” Bell answered. Eina wrote down the information.

“Thank you. If you will follow me to a private room, I must see your Falna information,” Eina stated. “I’m guessing, since your Goddess isn’t here, you already have the information ready?”

“I do.” Bell said to her, showing her his Falna papers.

“Alright, just follow me.” Eina said to him, and guided him to a private room. Once they entered Eina closed the door and locked it. Confirming it's locked. “This is a sound-proof room. You won’t have to worry about anyone hearing what your magic or abilities are.” She informed him. “Also, my name is Eina Tulle.”

“Thank you Ms. Eina.” Bell said to her, giving her his Falna papers.

“Now let's see. No magic, that is fine and what's this? Hygienic? Hmmmm sounds like a useful skill. Mental image blocking, that's a rare skill. This will come in handy for any monsters that have mental tricks or illusions.” Eina complimented him. “Adept Leadership, you must be a natural leader if I could take a guess. Oh? A familiar? Who is this Aegislash?”

“It's him.” Bell said to her, pointing at his back where Aegislash is, acting like a regular sword and shield. “Aegis, can you show yourself to her?”

“Aegislash!” Aegislash obeyed his partner's order, floating off of Bell’s back and levitated beside him.

“Oh my! I’ve never seen a familiar type like this.” Eina widens her eyes in shock and awe. “A sword and a shield? My my, what an impressive familiar? He must be very powerful to act as your familiar AND weapon.”

“Thanks Ms. Eina.” Bell said to her. “It does beat getting new weapons, I won’t have to worry about damaged weapons.”

“You mean your familiar is indestructible?”

“He is, but he can still get hurt and faint if he takes too much damage,” He told her. “It is a ‘living’ weapon.”

“I guess that is true,” Eina said, taking notes. “I’m guessing why he was like that, being brought here on your back, was because of his appearance to looking like a monster?”

Bell nodded. “I… Didn’t want a misunderstanding to happen.”

“At least you’re a lot smarter than most Rookie Adventurers.”

“Oh, I was wondering, even though I do have Aegislash, can I have a knife to fight with when he’s fighting alongside me when I’m not using him to fight with?”

“I can get you a Guild Issue knife and armor,” Eina said. “We will require you to return it if you can when you have enough funds to get equipment of your own.”

Bell nodded in understanding. “That seems reasonable.”

“Everything is set.” Eina wrote down some papers. “Just before you are fully registered, there are a few rules you need to understand, one, you are allowed to head into the floors below 10. No further than that due to your level being low and beginner.”

Bell nodded. “Thank you Ms. Eina. Before I start heading down, can I get maps of the first 10 floors as well as information on the monsters of each floor?”

Eina was starting to be impressed with Bell. He was actually thinking and not rushing into the dungeon half blind. It must have been his leadership skill. “I can do that. I normally have to force people to listen to my speeches on monsters, but you seem to be taking the initiative, Mr. Cranel.”

“Well, I can’t have my dream of becoming a hero if I die just a day in the Dungeon,” Bell said, smiling warmly at her. “I just have to work hard to achieve my dream. But not recklessly. I do have my Goddess to return to.”

“I hope you achieve those goals, Bell.” Eina said to him. “Second, due to you being a novice I will be your temporary guild receptionist until you prove that you are capable of handling yourself.”

“That’s fine. If I have anything to ask, I can come to you,” he said, smiling at her.

Eina nodded, actually happy for an adventure, a rooky one at that, was willing to actually try and learn and not just jump into the deep end. “Good, and third, Adventures should not go Adventuring.”

Bell blinked at that one. “That seems… like a double standard… is that the right word.”

Eina sighs, fixing her glasses. “Mr. Cranel, the dungeon is a dangerous place. Those that go in unprepared, unequipped, and underestimating it tend to be the ones that die.” She remembered two adventures that she had a good connection to die, making her the cold and dedicated woman she was, so she wouldn’t lose more like that or be heartbroken. “Quite a lot of Adventures venturing in the dungeon unprepared would likely result in fatal injuries, crippled or worse death. It is important you need to make sure you have what you need before heading there. The rules are not strict or mandatory but it is for their own safety, Level One adventurers attempt to go past the tenth floor, and the dungeon shows its true fangs to those that enter.”

Bell gulped, his leadership mind working on a hundred possible scenarios that could happen. “Understand. So, Adventure safely, and be prepared for everything that can happen as best as possible before you explore. Understood.”

Eina let a ghost of a smile show, but tried to hide it and not get too attached with Bell. “Yes, but not so much that it’s cumbersome and becomes a hindrance as well.”

“Might need to find someone later on for helping with gear then when I’m more accustomed to the floors and need to carry back items and crystals…” Bell muttered with his hand over his mouth as he tapped his finger on his cheek. “Right now, I just need to focus on getting stronger and earning funds for my guild.” (Light: That Adept Leadership Skill is already a blessing for Bell. He’s already acting like his later seasons-versions. Dark: Quite so, he is already a natural leader, he just needs a little push to put him out of his insecurity side)

Eina was impressed again. “Mr. Cranel, you seem to be well adept in thinking things through, even with that Adept Leadership skill you have. May I ask how old you are?”

“Oh, I’m 14.”

Eina’s eyes widened in surprise. “14? And you already this proficient?”

“My grandfather did taught me a lot of stuff.” Bell said to Eina.

“Well, he must’ve been a good person.” Eina smiled at him.

“And also that he told me to………. pick up lots of girls to see their uhhhhh, what was it? Boobs, tits or butts that look like marshmellow?” Bell asked, looking confused. He was still 14 and didn’t know much still.

And that smile died down on Eina as she narrowed her eyes and had a dangerous aura around her.

Bell gulped at the glare. “D-Did I say something wrong Ms. Eina? I-I’m sorry if I did.” Bell apologized earnestly.

“No you didn’t. Just forget what your perverted grandfather just said before.” Eina instantly tells Bell. “And if you see that man, please report it to me. I’m gonna have a stern talk with that old man.” She can’t let that man corrupt his innocence and purity. He’s lucky if he isn’t like Hermes or those perverted bastards.

“If he was still around that is…” Bell muttered sadly, looking down.

“Oh, my apologies.” Eina quickly apologized to Bell, realizing that was a sensitive topic to him but thanked all the gods in heaven that he wouldn't corrupt him anymore. This boy was too good to become a pervert. “Are there any other questions?”

“I think… What happens if I find an unknown location in a dungeon, same with a monster?”

“You report it to the guild immediately.” Eina said to Bell. “If there is an unknown variant or location that the dungeon spawned, report immediately. Anomalies must be investigated by professionals because we do not know what type of danger they are. They could be either treasures, hidden traps or monsters that the dungeon spawned.”

“Would I get compassion for the information? I’d still report it either way, I don;’t want people getting hurt if I can help prevent it, but I do need to help my Goddess out.” Bell said, then scratched the side of his cheek. “Our Familia right now is an abandoned ruined church…”

Eina could see that, even though he was questioning about earning money, he was on;ly doing so to help his Goddess and their financial problems. “Yes, depending on the information and the severity of the anomaly."

“Okay. Thank you. And sorry if I was sounding greedy. I didn’t mean to come off like that.” Bell said, smiling sheepishly and rubbing the back of his head.

“I completely understand, that concludes our session.” Eina said to him. “You are not a registered guild member.”

“Thank you Ms. Eina!” Bell said to her,

‘I impressed her?’ Bell widened his eyes when he saw the feats. ‘Two tickets at once? Wow! I’ll roll them when I get to the Dungeon.’ He wanted to roll them now, but his Leadership side told him to wait until after.

“Just remember Bell. Always make sure not to act recklessly, a young boy like you still has lots of chances to grow stronger if you're careful.”

“I will Ms. Eina!” Bell thanked her and exited out of the room. “Thanks for your time!” He once more thanked her before leaving the room, Aegislash going on his back again. He then reentered the room, looking sheepish. “Uh… Almost forgot, can I still get those maps, dagger and armor…?”

Eina sighed and placed her hand over her forehead. ‘And he was doing so well…’ She mentally groaned.

(Dungeon Entrance)

“This is the place.” Bell said while looking at the dungeon before him. He was feeling confidence and adrenaline but all that went down the drain, replacing it with nervousness and hesitation. “Eina wasn’t kidding what she said, the dungeon is a very scary place.” He said while muttering.

Just by the entrance he could feel some sort of eerie feeling and dangerous intent within the dungeon.

“Slash…” Aegislash muttering in agreement, feeling the energy that was like that of the Pokemon back home… but far worse.

“Well… No use standing around here,” Bell stated. “My first step of being a Hero starts here…” He then started walking down the step into the Dungeon's First Floor, Paisley Park having already integrated the map knowledge of the first floor into its body.

“Oh right! Ms. Eina said to be prepared when heading to the dungeon!” Bell stopped himself, remembering he had two tickets that he didn’t use. It's the best time to use them now. He made sure that no one saw him summoning the gold and silver astral projected tickets and having them rip.

“This antidote would look helpful.” Bell said, as the antidote bottle appeared in his hand and put it in his bag for later use if needed, this antidote will be very useful in case he gets poisoned or venomous. And it says it restocks, which is useful. And if he could actually re-create it, he could sell it as well with the other products his Hygienic trait gives him.

“Wonder what's the next one I go-WHAAAATTTTT?!” Now Bell noticed the other trait he got which surprised and horrified him. “CRAZY LURE?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!”

“Aegi?” Aegislash said, confused, shrugging his tassels.

Bell groaned, facepalming. “Why does it feel like these are things that I would get, even if I never had the Gacha…?” He asked, groaning. “No use complaining, let's just hope it doesn’t go too out of hand.” Bell said while entering the dungeon with Aegis on his back, and his guild dagger in hand.

(Dungeon: First Floor)

Bell stepped into the first floor, the damp, blue-tinted walls of the Dungeon closing in around him. Beneath his feet, a faint pink glow pulsed as Paisley Park manifested as a shadow, its map markers flickering. "Keep a sharp eye out, Paisley," Bell whispered. A marker on the floor shifted, pointing toward a narrow corridor to his left.

Following the Stand's guidance, Bell rounded a corner and came face-to-face with two Goblins and a Kobold. The Goblins screeched, brandishing crude clubs, while the Kobold snarled, its dog-like features contorting. Bell didn't panic; his Adept Leadership skill kept his mind clear. "Aegislash, Stance Change!"

The sentient blade flew from his back, its cloth-like arms gripping the shield. As the first Goblin lunged, Aegislash intercepted the blow with a resounding clang, its King's Shield absorbing the impact effortlessly. Bell moved in tandem, guided by Paisley Park’s spatial awareness, dodging a clumsy swing from the second Goblin. With a swift command, Aegislash spun in a deadly arc, its steel blade glowing with dark energy as it cleaved through both Goblins in a single, fluid motion.

The Kobold tried to retreat, but Bell was faster. He didn't even need his dagger; he directed Aegislash to finish it. The sword lunged forward like a spear, piercing the monster's chest. All three creatures dissipated into black ash, leaving behind three small magic stones. Bell exhaled, realizing he hadn't been touched once.

Soylent Green - A tin of Soylent Green, it is not appetizing, but it is nutritious enough to not let you starve; the taste generally varies from person to person. Restock Timer: 1 Hour]

One of them looks useful, he’s not a type of person wielding blunt weapons since his main preferred weapon is a dagger but encountering a monster that's a heavy monster that blunt weapons more effective with but would come in handy if he needs to improvise with a rock or an enemy monster’s weapon if they had one that was blunt. … Wait, weren’t shields considered blunt weapons as well?

And the other, he won’t have to worry about getting hungry or losing rations. Remembering one of the tales his grandfather told him was that he has to prioritize his food when venturing in the dungeon so you won’t have to get hungry or starve to death if caught in a dead end or lost within the dungeon. Though he has a stand that helps him navigate and marks a map which will never get him lost though it would help for his extended stay within the dungeon.

(Light: What is Soylent Green? I’ve never heard of it. Have you, Dark? Dark: Uhhhhh, well, I just looked it up and…………… I think it's best if you come closer (Light leans into Dark as Dark got close to his ear and whispered to him) Light: … WHAT THE HELL!? PLEASE TELL ME HE DIDN’T GET THE ‘IMPROVED’ ONE!? Dark: Does it look like he would?! Oh god, if he does then we’re gonna have a nice LONG TALK with the lucky gods!)

He looked at the can that appeared in his hand. He then opened it with his knife, knowing it  would restock by resealing and putting new ones in. When he opened them, he saw that they looked like green crackers. He took one and bit into it.

“HOLY COW!” Bell widened his eyes the moment his tastebud tasted the Soylent Green. It was salty, with a hint of ocean flavors, like seaweed and fish. It was good. (Light: (Sighs in relief) Oh thank the Multivers… He got the Plancton made ones… Dark: Oh thank god). He’ll keep this for rations for now.

Taking a deep breath and looking ahead of the dungeon. Feeling more confident than ever.

“Come on Aegis! We’ve got a long way ahead until we have enough!”

“Aegislash!” His partner agreed.

Bell continued going further into the first floor, after collecting the Goblin Gem, Aegislash floating next to him, as Paisley Park was showing his location in his shadow. He then came across the second enemy of the first floor, a Kobold.

Instead of sending Aegislash out to fight the monster, Bell decided to fight it with his dagger. He needs to get experience fighting as well, even though he could with Blunt Weapons right now. He did however have Aegislash distract it so he could fight it easier.

Bell pushed deeper into the First Floor, his confidence growing with every step. Guided by Paisley Park’s flickering markers, he navigated the damp corridors with an efficiency that would have made even veteran adventurers pause. It wasn't long before the familiar snarls of monsters echoed ahead. A pack of three Goblins and two Kobolds blocked the path, their eyes glowing with hunger.

"Aegislash, intercept!" Bell commanded. The sentient blade whirled, its King's Shield clanging against a Goblin's club while Bell slid underneath a Kobold's lunge, delivering a precise strike with his guild dagger. The synergy between boy and blade was seamless; within minutes, the corridor was once again silent, save for the sound of dissolving ash and clinking magic stones.

As Bell gathered the loot, a high-pitched squeak alerted him to a new threat. From the shadows hopped a Needle Rabbit, its fur bristling with iron-hard quills. Before Bell could react, the creature launched a barrage of needles toward him.

"Shield!" Bell yelled. Aegislash shifted instantly, its broad surface catching the projectiles. But the rabbit wasn't alone. A Frog Shooter perched on a nearby ledge, its throat bulging before it spat a high-velocity globule of pressurized water at Bell's feet, slicking the floor.

Bell nearly slipped, but his spatial awareness from Paisley Park allowed him to regain his footing. "Aegis, take the Frog! I'll handle the Rabbit!" Using the Adept Leadership skill to stay calm, Bell closed the distance with the Needle Rabbit. As it prepared another volley, he used the flat of his dagger—aided by his Blunt Weapon Mastery—to swat the rabbit aside, stunning it before finishing it off. Above him, Aegislash cleaved the Frog Shooter in two mid-jump.

Bell took a deep breath, his chest heaving. "That was closer than I thought.” He checked his inventory, running a mental tally of his equipment’s durability. The repeated clashing had dulled his dagger slightly, and Aegislash’s shield form bore a faint, water-stained mark from the Frog Shooter’s pressurized attack. The encounter was a sharp reminder that the dungeon’s inhabitants were not static practice dummies; they were evolving threats that demanded constant alertness and tactical adaptation.

He gathered the remaining magic stones and monster spoils, dropping them into his slightly stained burlap sack. The gold and bronze tickets he had earned moments ago were safely tucked away, but he was currently focused on survival, not on what the RNG might grant him next. The path must be clear, he reminded himself, focusing on the mental map provided by Paisley Park. The spatial awareness skill was invaluable, showing him subtle shifts in the tunnel structure—a slight incline here, a pocket of trapped air there—that indicated proximity to deeper levels.

Moving forward, the air grew noticeably cooler and thicker, carrying the metallic scent of iron and the earthy smell of deep moss. The floor transitioned from rough-cut stone to smoother, almost slick obsidian, a clear indication of a major change in the dungeon's composition. He was approaching the threshold. The transition zone between floors was always the most dangerous, where monsters from both levels often mingled, aggressive and territorial.

A low, guttural croaking echoed from a wide cavern ahead. Bell slowed his pace, pressing against the cold, damp wall. Peeking around the corner, he saw the source of the sound: two Armored Toads. These were bulkier than the smaller Frog Shooters, covered in hard, segmented plates of chitin that shimmered faintly in the dim light. They sat like grotesque, living rocks, their long, sticky tongues flicking out to catch stray insects.

Bell knew a direct attack was foolish. His standard dagger and even Aegislash’s cuts would glance harmlessly off their shell. Blunt force, he thought, recalling the information he had gathered from the guild library. He needed crushing power. He pulled out a small, heavy mining hammer he had acquired—a common, sturdy item he kept for resource gathering and breaking hard objects. It wasn’t a refined weapon, but it had the mass he needed.

He commanded Aegislash to circle wide, using its illusory presence to draw the toads’ attention. As the spectral sword glided silently, the toads turned their massive heads, their eyes focusing on the movement. This gave Bell the opening he needed. He sprinted, his movement enhanced by his Agility, closing the gap in two quick bursts.

The first toad reacted, trying to coil its tongue around Bell’s legs. Bell ducked under the attack, the air whistling past his ear, and brought the mining hammer down with a grunt, aiming for the toad’s unprotected head. The chitin plate cracked with a sickening crunch, and the toad collapsed, its legs twitching.

The second toad, enraged, spat a blinding cloud of viscous, acidic bile. Bell instinctively covered his face with his free arm, feeling the stinging heat on his skin, but his attention never wavered. Aegislash, completing its flanking maneuver, slammed its King’s Shield form into the toad’s side, flipping the heavy creature onto its back.

Its soft, vulnerable underbelly was exposed. Bell didn’t hesitate. He thrust his guild dagger upward, piercing the pale flesh. The toad shuddered violently before melting into the usual cloud of ash and leaving behind a single, unusually large magic stone. Bell wiped the bile from his arm, noting the slight burn, and pocketed the large magic stone, a valuable prize that would fetch a good price at the exchange.

Now it's time to roll those bundles of tickets he has.

Bell blinked. “I have a storage space?” He then went to pull something out of thin air like it was instinctual… and pulled out a giant iron war hammer that Bell nearly toppled over from the sheer weight of the thing. “... Goddess is going to flip when she hears this… isn’t she…?” he muttered to himself. He’ll just keep it in his storage for now and maybe sell these to the blacksmith if they need money.

(A few days later)

“I’m back Ms. Eina!” Bell said to Eina while holding bags of items.

“Oh you're here Bell.” Eina said to Bell. “It has been, how many days, few days?”

“Yup!”

“That is impressive, you seemed to have followed my directions, but for a novice they normally come back in a day or two.”

“It’s all thanks to our teamwork.” Bell said to Eina. “Me and Aegis worked together in the dungeon and we collected a lot of items. Mana stones and what the monsters dropped.”

“I’m impressed Bell, you did a great job.” Eina complimented him. “I seem to underestimate your skills.”

“Speaking of skills, I got another familiar!” Bell said to Eina.

“Oh? What did you get?”

“It’s some sort of… A Golem-like creature called a Praetorian. Acts like a magic smith golem, but for fighting instead of smith work.”

“An automata golem? That seems interesti-WHAT THE HELL?!” By the time Eina spoke, she noticed a large figure behind Bell by now, completely surprised and taken back.

It has a grated visor on its head and a similar, larger plate on its chest. It was levitating by some strange mechanics. Its upper arms consist of a series of free-floating red orbs, with an additional orb embedded in its forearms. It is armed with some sort of a blood red katana, a rounded black shield with a red gem in the center, and a pair of weapons on its stomach that she can’t recognize.

“Bell………..” Eina spoke with wide eyes and shaking, she can feel how strong this thing is that she can’t measure how strong it even is. “What is that?”

“My new Familiar…” Bell said, looking sheepish.

“WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU FIND THAT!? LET ALONE TAME SUCH A HIGH LEVEL CREARTURE!?”

[Detecting malice threat. Hostile confirmed. Eliminating treat.]

SHING!

“AAAAAHHH!” Eina shrieked while hiding behind receptionist desk as Praetorian pointed his blade at her.

[Cease your hostility from my master or you’ll be identified as a threat]

Bell paled after  hearing that, and quickly got in front of Eina, waving his arms frantically. “STAND DOWN! STAND DOWN! THIS IS EINA! MY GUILD ADVISER! NOT A TREAT! IT’S HER JOB TO KNOW INFORMATION ON THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN THE DUNGOEN! SHE’S JUST SURPRISED BY YOUR APPERANCE!”

[Acknowledge, ceasing hostility threat]

Praetorian lowered his blade.

Eina peeked over the desk while sweating, slowly getting up and standing straight. Bell turned and rapidly bowed to her. “I am so sorry, Ms. Eina! I did not know Praetorian would act like that. Please don’t black list me or my Familia! I will do everything I can to make sure Praetorian doesn’t act out like that again!”

“It's……… It's alright Bell.” Eina forcefully calms her rapid heartbeat, nearly escaping death. “I should apologize for my behavior. I have heard of magic automata golems but your familiar…… This is my first time seeing something so advanced.” Eina shifted her gaze to Bell. “Where did you get him or find him, Bell?”

“Uhhhhhhhhhh.” Bell sweated while trying to come up with a reason how he found Praetorian. He can’t say he summoned him with his Chaos Gacha. He promised his Goddess to not let anyone know his power and he doesn’t want to get exposed so soon! He can’t handle that much threat that even Praetorian could handle! And he hated lying! He then tried a half truth. “Would you believe it if I said I found it buried in the walls of the dungeon, like it was trying to absorb it, but couldn’t? And I touched it, making it active, and making me its master.” Not a complete lie, he did get it in the dungeon.

“Which floor did you find him on? Did you go past the 10th floor?” Eina narrowed her eyes to Bell.

“No! I only went to at least 6 floors!” Bell answered to Eina.

“SIXTH FLOOR!? Bell, you’re just a rookie! I know I said you shouldn’t go to the 10th floor alone, but I would have thought you’d be smart enough to stay on the First for your first day!”

“... Well, I did have Aegis and Praetorian.” Bell said to Eina, holding his hands up in surrender. “And I found him on the 3rd floor. I was planning on heading back but………. I wanted to explore more of the dungeon.” Bell said to Eina. “I know I was supposed to report if there was an anomaly but by the time Praetorian, the secret room disappeared.”

“Normally I would scold you for doing something utterly reckless. I expected you to be smarter than most adventurers.” Eina scolded him, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Its how novice adventurers lose their life but…………… it was your first time and you had someone, well an automaton and living sword protecting you.” Eina let out a sigh. “Just please… try to be more careful… You know the dungeon can be unpredictable.”

Bell bowled again. “I apologize again, Ms. Eina. I just… wanted to know what my new familiar could do, and make sure it was in a place where it could use its powers without hurting people, just monsters.”

“... Fine, I’ll concede that that was the more sensible option, just please don’t make this a habit."

“... I’ll do my best, but I can’t promise, since, like you said, the dungeon is unpredictable."

“Very well.” Eina sighed and regained her composure, turning to Bell. “Have you considered sending your Automaton Familiar to Hephaestus Familia? I heard they pay great money for studying lost artifacts such as yours for example.”

“... They won’t treat him apart will they?”

“They shouldn’t, but they may take it apart from time to time to know how it works and how to repair it. As well as give it new power sources to try out to see what works with it.”

“I’ll remember that.” Bell said to Eina. “He was very helpful to me and a good friend. I don’t want him to lose him.” Bell said to Eina, Praetorian has been protecting Bell and has been incredibly useful, without him he wouldn’t venture deeper in the dungeon without his help.

“I’m sure he is.” Eina said to Bell. “Now let's count how many you have.”

“Of course! Here’s one bag.” Bell placed the bag of monster crystals on the desk.

“Hmmm, seems a decent amoun-”

“And here’s another that Praetorian has.”

BAM!

Praetorian placed the bag on Eina's desk which was literally almost reaching the rooftop.

“......”

“I couldn’t carry all of them due to how heavy it was so Praetorian helped out and carried them all the way back from the dungeon.” Bell said with a smile, and not wanting to to show his Hammer Space yet.

There were 150 War Shadow Magic Stones, 10 War Shadow's Finger Blades, 100 Frog Shooter Magic Stones, 200 Dungeon Lizard Magic Stones, 300 Goblin Magic Stones, 25 Goblin Fangs, 250 Kobold Magic Stones, and 20 Kobold Nails.

Eina was slackjawed as her glasses we now crooked.

“Also, I found some war hammers some people might have lost,” Bell added, as Praetorian placed 15 of the Quality Iron Hammers on the ground.

“............ Bell………….. Do you have time to come back tomorrow?” Eina slowly said to Bell. “I need to calculate this with the others. And the amount of items you have.”

“Sure! Have a good day Ms. Eina!” Bell said to Eina and left the room as people there all scooted away from the floating automata as they were literally afraid of that hunk of leviating golem it was.

By the time Bell left, Eina was filled with so many emotions while her mind was scrambling to process it. There was one logical thing she could do.

THUD!

Taking a nice sweet little nap.

(Church basement)

“HOLY SWEET PRIMORDIAL TITS!” Hestia gaped at the Praetorian sight. She was about to greet Bell back after not seeing him for a few days which felt like an eternity. When Bell announced he was back. Just before she could welcome him back and dash out of the door, she saw the flying automata behind Bell.

“Are you happy to see me, Goddess?”

“Of course I am-wait, that's not important. Bell, who is that behind you?” Hestia pointed at Praetorian. “That golem, I can’t feel his power or any readings on it but I could feel it's nearly on par with one of Loki’s Familia members!”

“Oh that's Praetorian!” Bell said to Hestia, introducing his levitating companion to her goddess. “Praetorian meet Hestia, the goddess of my Familia.”

[Greetings, I am UNIT PRAETORIAN V1. You are the head superior of my master?]

“Uh, yes. I am Goddess Hestia, Goddess of the Familia,” Hestia introduced herself. “I take it you’re a new Familiar Bell summoned?”

“Yeah, I got quite a few Tickets before and during my exploration into the dungeon. “I gained more after but wanted to wait until I got back here to pull them. I didn’t want to get any more crazy pulls and have the Dungeon react to me doing so. I felt like I was testing my luck doing so in there.”

“Did you tell anyone about your ability?”

“No. I made sure no one noticed the Chaos Gacha.” Bell said to Hestia.

“Good, it’s already hard with your crazy new familiars, and abilities as well,” Hestia stated. “You might already be drawing attention and not even realizing it.”

“Espeasialy with my Crazy Magnet skill I have…”

“... Crazy what now…?” She asked.

“You should see it on my Falna, Goddess,” Bell stated, letting out a sigh. He then took his shirt off and laid on the couch so Hestia could see her member's stats and skills. She unlocked it and worked on updating his stats, and gawked at the ludicrous skills Bell had before transferring it to paper.

And looking at the notifications he got during the last few days in the Dungeon while she did so.

“Wow Bell! Your stats have grown!” Hestia said with amazement. “Keep this up and I’m gonna level you up but that's too soon! You need to take time and adjustments, just because you have a special ability doesn’t mean you have to act arrogant. You have to take accountability that there will be someone who could be stronger than you.” Hestia lectured to Bell.

“I understand Goddess. I know how powerful the Chaos Gacha is and I won’t try to act arrogant and irrational.” Bell said to Hestia. He isn’t arrogant or prideful, he knows how there will be other adventurers who would be stronger than him and even with the extensive amount of powers, facing someone who’s a higher level than him will find a way to bypass his ability.

“But it won’t hurt to be better prepared for the future as well,” Hestia stated. “We should see what you can still get that might help our Familia.”

Bell nodded. “True. Okay. Let’s see what my luck is like. He then had the tickets appear and rip.

Bell clutched his head from the information overload. “... Note to self… Don’t roll so many High Grade Tickets at once… The Mental Pain is NOT worth it…!”

“So, what did you get Bell?”

“Well, I got Lightning Magic for one,” Bell said, pulling Grimoire of Lightning Magic. “I can use spells from this.”

“Is that a Grimoire!?” Hestia shouted in shock. “Those are books that cost around 100,000,000 Valis and can only be used ones!”

Bell Blinked. “Uh… T-This one isn’t like the ones from here Goddess. This is actually a Soul Bond item that allows me to conjure Lightning from it.”

“Aaahhhhh!” Hestia groaned and pouted. “It would’ve helped to get rid of my debts.”

Bell blinked. “Debts?”

“Uhhhhhhh! Nevermind that!” Hestia had a nervous expression and tried to avoid the subject.

[Superiors heartbeat rising up to 120 bpm and her facial expression indicates hiding a secret that she does not wish to disclose]

“A secret?” Bell was confused what Praeteion was talking about until remembering what Goddess just said. “Wait a minute. Goddess, are you…….in debt?” Bell asked Hestia.

“What? No! Of course not! Why would I be in debt-”

[Heartbeat rising up again. She is lying master]

“SHUT UP YOU WALKING TIN CAN!” Hestia shouted, wishing she could use her Arcana to melt the thing for scrap metal to sell to the smithing god familias.

“Goddess, please tell me the truth," Bell said, earnestly in his eyes.

“.........Ok, yes I’m in debt.” Hestia sighed and spoke the truth to Bell. “I owe Hephaestus money that I ‘borrowed’ off her while staying with her before starting my familia… I… was a bit of a slouch…” She admitted, looking away with a blush… and coming face to face with a cycloptic mummy like head.

“Dusk…” it said.

“KYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! A MUMMY MONSTER!” Hestia jumped to Bell's arm and shook. “BELL SLAY THIS MONSTER BEFORE IT CURSES US TO DEATH!”

“Uh… Actually… That would be my new Pokemon Familiar…” Bell said sheepishly, sweetdropping.

“Wait what?” Hestia was taken back by what Bell said.

[Superior officer deemed not fit to manage and lead, demoting to private rank. Un-attach yourself from my master]

“Huh? What do you mean by tha-HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Praeteion grabbed Hestia and lifted her up as she flailed around her hands and legs at the automata familiar. “LET GO OF ME! I’LL BURN YOU UNTIL YOUR NOTHING BUT LIQUID METAL!”

“Praeteion, please let Goddess go.” Bell asked his familiar.

[Acknowledged]

THUD!

“OUCH!” Praeteion dropped Hestia, making her rub her bottom. “That hurt you tin can!”

“Please be mindful of your actions Praeteion.” Bell said to his familiar which beeped in acknowledgement. Turning to Hestia. “How much do you owe Hephaestus?”

Hestia lowered her head and spoke in a low tone no one could hear.

“What’s that?”

“....thousandn valis”

“Uhhh Goddess, can you speak up more please?”

“I owe Hephaestus………….100,000 Valis.”

Bell blinked. “Huh, we might be able to pay it off tomorrow then,” Bell said, sounding unsure. “I did bring in a lot of Magic Stones and Drop items. I should get the estimant tomorrow.”

“...” Hestia blinked and looked at Bell. “Just how much did you earn?”

“Don’t know,” He said, shrugging. “Ms. Eina seems shocked at how much I brought back though.”

“I mean, it can’t have been that much that you got, right?”

(Next Day: Guild Hall Currency Vender)

“Your total is 661,600 Valis for the Magic Stones and Drop items you brought in yesterday,” the Vender said, as he slid out a huge sack of Valis to Bell and Herstia, both moths dropped in shock at how much they got.

“Hey, isn’t that the rookie that beat the record for getting past the fifth floor in less than a week?” one adventure asked in a stage whisper.

“Not only that, I heard he found and took control of what could be an ancient magi-tech armor golem left in the dungeon from centuries ago,” another said.

“I think I also say that his sword is some sort of magical sword that can fight on its own.”

“You think it’s a Spirit Possessed Sword, not a Magic Sword?”

“He actually took out almost 1,000 monsters as well.”

Hestia groaned. “:Looks like roomers are starting to spread about you Bell…”

Bell just smiled sheepishly. He then heard a ding he both dreaded and loved.

[Feat Achieved! Earn Over 500,000 Valis on your First Trip in the Dungeon! +1 Bronze Item Ticket!]

“... Uh… Goddess…” Bell said quietly.

“... Another Ticket?”

“Just a Bronze this time…” He muttered.

“... At least it can’t get too crazy of a roll…” She said, as Bell took the bag of Valis and put them in his bag.

“At least we can pay off the expenses you owe your friend Goddess,” Bell said, smiling. “And still have some for shopping for food.”

“At least we have that,” She said, as they headed out to see Hephistas, with Praeteion following them when they made it outside the Guild. “But Bell, please, PLEASE, try not to get so much attention you when you go into the Dungeon."

“I’ll… do my best…” Bell said, looking sheepish.

“Out of the way weaklings!”

Bell suddenly heard someone speaking from the guild, turning to see a werewolf with gray hair, orange eyes, grey wolf ears, and a grey wolf tail. He also has a blue tattoo on the left side of his face.

“Ugh, that guy again.” Eina spoke with annoyance.

“Who is he, Eina?”

“Bete Loga of the Loki Familia, and he hates people he sees as ‘weak’,” She said, groaning.

“... Wait, I think he’s the one that ran me off when I tried to join their guild…” Bell said.

“I think that’s good,” Hestia said. “Mean’s I got one up on her.”

Bell looked confused by what his Goddess meant by that.

“Me and Loki don’t get along,” She answered him.

“Oh.”

“Yo Half elf!” Bete said to Eina. “You got that request ready?”

“Yes Bete, your Familia has sent the request to the guild and it has been approved.” Eina spoke in a stoic tone to Bete.

“Bout fucking time! We want to get on that expedition now, no thanks to your slow asses!”

“Please calm down Bete, request needed to be process and approved to-”

“Oh shut it! You’re nothing but a weakling that can only work as a guild employee. You’d die to a goblin!”

[Hostility detected to master’s compainion.]

Bete was confused by why it got dark all of sudden when…

CLING!

“AGH!” Bete was suddenly grabbed on the throat by Praeteion and lifted off the ground. “Y-YOU FUCKING PIECE OF-Wait a minute? Your a fucking golem?!”

[Cease Hostility or else you’ll be designated as hostile]

“I know a pile of scraps like you didn’t order ME around, Bete Loga, one of the strongest of Loki Familia, A level 5, did you, you clanker!?” Bete shouted at Praeteion, as he kicked Praeteion’s arm hard enough to dent it and force him to release Bete… but it didn’t. “Huh? What the-?!”

[Hostile target confirmed]

BOOM!

“GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” Praeteion threw Bete away, causing him to crash through the guild wall and skid across the ground/road.

“What the hell is going on here!?” came the shout of light red hair and red eyestomboyish woman. “Why was one of my members sent flying like a rock on a pond!?”

[Hostile was threatening Eina, one of Master’s companions]

“Damn that Bete and his idioti-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?” The now recognized Loki, Goddess of her familia, said before shouting in shock seeing Praeteion.

“T-That would be my Familiar…” Bell said, raising his hand. “I’m sorry about him. He’s… OVERLY protective…”

Hestisa facepalmed, groaning at Bell’s chaotic luck. “And we just ran into one of the people I DIDN’T want to run into…”

Loki turned to see Bell and Hestia. “... Well if it isn’t the Loli Big Boobs~” Loki said with a cocky smile.

“And if it isn't the Wood Plank,” Hestia shot back.

“Which poor victim did you try to make him join your Familia?” Loki said to Hestia.

“I’ll have you know he actually came willingly!” Hestia retorted at Loki. “A bunch of Gods like you rejected him from joining any Familia for a week, just because you just went off his looks.”

Loki blinked. “... But he never came to my Familia.”

“Your Guard Dog chased him away…” Hestia stated, pointing her thumb to the hole in the wall where Bete was sent.

Bell looks between the hole in the guild wall and Eina. “I’m not going to have to pay for that, am I?”

“Loki Familia will be getting the bill since he was being aggressive,” she answered, fixing her glasses.

“....... BETE!” Loki shouted after hearing both things.

“What now bit-aaahhh shit.” Bete shot up from the hole and was about to shout before noticing his goddess was there, looking angry at him. “Uhhh, this isn’t what it looks li-”

“YOU IDIOT! HOW MANY TIMES DID I TELL YOU NOT TO SCARE AWAY NEW APPLICATES BECAUSE OF YOUR ABSTATION WITH STRENGTH! AND NOW WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGE OF THE GUILD BECAUSE YOU RAN YOUR MOUTH AGAIN!”

“What!? But that metal tin can was the one to attack me!”

[After you were being hostile to Eina for doing her job.]

“Only cause that bitch took too long to get our reque-”

“Beetteeeee.” Loki grit her teeth.

“Uhhhhh, I-I mean-”

“You're hereby suspended from adventuring and going to the arena for two weeks.”

“WHAT?! NO! GODDESS LOKI I CAN EXPLAI-!”

“Save it for later!”

“What’s the arena?" Bell asked, confused.

“An arena we have at our guild to practice fighting, but also a punishment where they have to train new recruiters, clean it up, and do repairs of ALL damages, ALONE…”

Bete looked like he was going to have a heart attack. “Wait, Goddess, I’m needed as a front fighter in the vanguard.”

“Well, you should have thought of that before you ran your big mouth and did something stupid, like usual…” She growled at Bete, glaring at him. “And we’re already in the red preparing for this expedition."

Bete glared at Bell, thinking this was his fault. “It was that weakling’s familiar that should be blamed.”

“Bete either shut up or else I’m gonna extend it to a month!” Loki shouted to her Familia member, causing him to shut his mouth. “And because you again made things worse, I’m replacing you from the expedition to Ais as the front fighter.”

“What?! That damn sword girl? You can’t do this Loki!”

“I can and did Bete! Now, get up and get back to the Familia hall now, and no stopping at the Hostess, you are prohibited to go there while you're punished.”

“WHAT!?”

“Yes, because you're worse drunk, and we don’t need you to make things worse than they already are.”

Bete slumped his herald, grumbling under his breath, as he got up and walked away in a huff.

Loki pinched the bridge of her nose. “I swear that werewolf issues have gotten worse over the years… And he’s too stubborn to get help to fix them…”

Bell then bowed to Loki. “I’m sorry about this whole mess. I’m still trying to get Praeteion under control after finding him…”

Loki looked at Bell. “Wait, you found this walking, talking fortress of an armor suit golem?”

“I did say to a lot of guilds that I wa-” Bell then stopped himself from saying anymore, realizing he was already saying too much.

“He was lucky enough to find me, and he was able to help get use a good amount of Valis in his first few days in the dungeon,” Hestia said, proud of her Bell.

Eina pinched the bridge of her nose. “Still upset with him for doing something reckless… And the sheer headache of everything he collected in a few days…”

“... It sounds like you were born under a lucky star or something…” Loki said.

‘You wouldn’t be too far from the truth…’ Bell mentally though.

“Anyway, good luck with this Loli Big Boobs. Let me tell you, she’s a real big one to handle, you’d have to massage her back every day considering how heavy those things are.”

“Unlike you, at least I have something to show rather than people thinking that you're a boy!”

“WHAT’D YOU SAY TO ME BITCH?!”

“Oh, are you deaf as well as flat?”

Bell got in between the two. “C-Can’t we talk like reasonable people?" He asked, trying to be the peace keeper. “We already have attention on both of us, we don’t need more, especially after the whole thing with my familiar somehow beating a level 5 adventurer.” He sweatdropped. ‘And I’m trying to make sure I don’t draw too much attention, since I’m trying not to have Herstia lose everything because of my powers…’

“That’s one mighty Automata I have to say.” Loki complimented Bell while looking at Praeteion. “Have you thought about sending it to Hephaestus?”

“Actually, we were going to head there before this whole… incident happened,” Bell admitted. “I wanted to make sure they can fix him if he needs fixing later on in the future.”

“And pay back Loli Big Boob’s loans while she was mooching off her friend~?” She asked teasingly.

“AT LEAST I WAS BORN BLESSED BY THE HEAVEN WHILE YOU WERE CURSED AT HELL FOR HAVING SOMETHING THATS A FLATBOARD!”

“YOU WANNA GO BITCH?!”

“Goddess Hestia… Please stop fighting… We need to see Hephaestus soon…” Bell said. He then whispered quietly to her. “We also are trying to get less attention, so people don’t start getting more rumors about me. We’re trying not to get our Familia eradicated. You’re the one who told me that.”

Hestia froze… then took a deep breath and let it out. “As much as I want to continue our little argument that I was winning-”

“Liker hell you were!” Loki shouted as tick marks appeared over her head.

“We do have important business to attend to Flat Wood Plank. Hephaestus and her Captain will want to look at Praetorian. Who knows, they could find a way to actually make a golem like my Bell’s familiar is. If they know how to reverse engineer it."

Loki grumbled… but had to admit, having something like Praetorian on their expeditions would come in handy, if not something that was a little less advanced then he was.

“Fine, but don’t let me catch you again, Loli Big Boobs. Or else I’ll find a way to make them shrink.”

“Hah! Shrink! You just want to find a way to grow them yourselves! Face it you’ll forever be flat like a wooden board is for your eternal life! Hahahahhaahahha!”

Bell just sighs as he grabs Hesita by the wrist and drags her out, not before saying goodbye to Eina, and heading to the smithing part of the tower.

‘Bell huh.’ Loki kept her sight on Bell, opening one eye. ‘Seems like I might have missed a dime a dozen. I don’t know why but………..you seem to interest me Bell. I want to know more about you.’ Smiling for a bit with a dangerous glint in her eyes. ‘I just have to find a way to get past that damn bimbo’s attention. Hehehehe, consider yourself lucky. You caught my attention and as a trickster god, I always find a way to get what I want.’

Bell felt a shiver and shuddered.

“Wait what?!” Bell shouted in shock, nearly tripping in the process.

“Whats wrong?”

“N-Nothing Goddess!” Bell hid his terrified expression as best he could and smiled while behind his back, he was sweating like a waterfall.

“Bell, you know I can tell when you lie, right?” Hestia reminded him. “Mortals can’t lie to gods.”

… He did forget that from the shock at what he got. Bell groaned as he facepalmed.

“L-Let’s forget it please?” Bell did not really want to let her know he got a feat for getting her rivals attention cause that would escalate things real bad.

“Hmmmmmmmmmmm.” Hestia scrunched her eyes to Bell, looking suspicious. For some reason she had a bad feeling. She then let out a sigh, seeing how uncomfortable he was getting. “... Fine, I’ll drop it for now, Bell.”

“Thank you goddess!” Bell sighed in heavy relief, likely dodging some real deep trouble.

“Come on, it's this way to Hephaestus’s blacksmith shop.”

“Do you think she might try to forcefully take Praeteian from me?” Bell asked Hestia. “I mean I don’t know much of Praeteion’s power but he looked like he could stand against level 5 adventurers. … Which he did…”

“I don’t think so, Hephaestus is all but nothing like a crook or a greedy Goddess.” Hestia assured Bell. “She’s pretty chill and is understanding. She’s a good friend.”

“You think so? She won’t try to tear him down?”

“Of course not! Bell, it’ll be alright. She’s not gonna try and buy him from you-”

(Hephaestus Blacksmith)

Bell and Hestia had made it to Hephaestus’s Familia. Hephaestus at first was skeptical about Hestai and why she wanted to come, thinking she was going to ask for something. Instead, she and her captain, a brown skin, long black hair, red eyes, half dwarf that was wearing an eyepatch, similar to her Goddess Hephaestus, named Tsubaki Collbrande saw that they wanted to show Bell’s Familiar. … When she saw it, she had one thing to say.

“How. Much.”

“Uhhhhhh, what?”

“Tell me your price, how much are you gonna sell him.”

“.............. I think I should forget what I just said before.” Hestia spoke while sweatdropping.

Hephaestus has a crimson eye and red hair reaching to the neck. She has a rather sharp face and slender body with an eyepatch over her right eye. She was wearing a button up long sleeve white tee with the sleeves rolled up partially. She also wears black pants with brown leather boots that reach somewhere near her mid thigh area. Like her captain she also said the same thing.

“He’s…………. He’s not for sale.”

“Tell me what you want!” Hephaestus grabbed Bell's shoulder with a fanatic expression on her. “Money, gold, jewels, weapons, armor? I’ll give it to you for a lifetime! Please! Name your price!”

“Hephaestus, can you chill out for a bit?”

“Hestia, do you know what this thing is?” Hephaestus turned to Hestia. “Just by a glance its more complex than ANYTHING I have the fortune of seeing. And I’ve seen a lot as a goddess of the forge.”

“What’s the big dea-EEK!” Hestia was just about to say something until Hephaestus got close to her with a scary irritated expression.

“You idiot numbskull, this is unlike anything I’ve seen! Such a masterpiece! It's running on a fusion reactor! It is a self-sustaining, closed-loop energy source that provides the unit with its own energy, unlike anything we have ever seen in this world! Runes! Carvings! Materials and high grade quality ores it has!”

“A beautiful machine, so magnificent. It's like I’m in heaven already.” Tsubaki spoke with awe while looking at Praeteion.

“Please! You have to tell us what the price is!” Hephaestus pleaded with Bell. “I’ll pay anything! Hell you can even get anything for free and I can make weapons and armors for your familia as its main backer and I won’t ask for a single Vali for a 1000 years!”

Bell was looking rather flummoxed, as he was holding his arms up in surrender. “He’s not for sale. And also, he’s actually fully attuned to me, and will only take orders from me. He’s helped me out a lot and I can’t part ways with him. He’s my familiar and friend.” Bell answered to the Smith Goddess and Captain.

The two slumped, comical tears running down their faces.

“... But, I am willing to let you two study him and repair him if he gets damaged." He said, smiling.

“DEAL!”

WHOOSH!

“Thank you so much young man!” Hephaestus suddenly hugged Bell so tightly to her chest that he was slowly turned blue.

“Hephaestus! Let go of Bell! You’re suffocating him!” Hestia shouted to Hephaestus with anger and jealousy.

“Where did you find such a cute little boy Hestia? He looks so adorable I just really want to thank him for letting me study an ancient artifact from the old pre-gods era.”

“Hey! He’s mine!” Hestia shouted to Hephaestus, grabbing Bell and pulled him away from her. “Get your own young boys you like!”

“Alright, alright. I apologize for my behavior.” Hephaestus finally noticed her actions and behavior that clearly wasn’t what she had to act. “I’m sorry, it's just seeing an ancient relic. A creation when Mankind was advanced before the gods descended where skills and talents existed.” She said while looking at Praeteion.

“And you're letting us study it.” Tsubaki added in.

“Its no problem.” Bell said to them while looking sheepish. “Do you think you could create something like him?”

“To be honest, no.” Hephaestus said to Bell. “A creation like this would take weeks, months and even years for a goddess like me to understand. Before the Gods descended, Mankind relied on their own. Becoming advanced that even Gods like us find it hard to understand. After the Age of Heroes not many relics were found and when they were, its still to this day their being studied. Such beauty and glorious complex they made.”

“Hell it might take me my entire lifetime to even study your Praeteion!” Tsubaki added in as well.

“I guess I visit regularly.” Bell said while suggesting. “I mean if you could create something like him, then people would be a lot safer when exploring the dungeon and making it out alive.”

“That would be very grateful for what you can do for us.” Hephaestus said to Bell with gratitude and turned to Hestia. “Guess you hit the jackpot.”

“Hmph! Those other gods rejected him because they think he’s weak but I see a lot of potential in him than what those others think! They just missed an opportunity.” Hestia proudly said, hugging Bell’s arm.

“Wait a minute, I remember you.” Tsubaki turned to Bell, remembering that a young boy had come to them before. “Weren’t you here before?”

“Uhhh, yeah I was.” Bell said to Tsubaki. “You told me I can’t join because I don’t have enough skills as a blacksmith to join the Familia but you weren’t that harsh before. You were one of the more gentler ones, and were willing to teach me if you had the time.”

“Oh darn I missed an opportunity.” Tsubaki slapped her forehead in frustration. “Damn me and my busy schedule as captain…”

“It's alright, even if you joined you wouldn’t have that much opportunity if you joined my Familia.” Hephaestus assured Tsubaki and explained to Bell. “We’re a blacksmith familia.”

“It's fine, I do want to explore the dungeon more. I’m not a blacksmith or have any talents to make weapons.” Bell assured Hephaestus. “It would be cool to make weapons and armor, but I want to be a hero.”

“Fair enough.” Hephaestus nodded to Bell. “Still I’m very grateful that you let us study Praeteion. With this technology, soon I might be able to make something more than just armor, quite possibly a new type of equipment called Magi-Tech. A fusion of magic and armor mixed together.”

“You think it's possible?” Bell asked with a hopeful gaze.

“If we could find what makes golem alive, what runes and materials they used to make it self sustaining, understanding a creation like Praetorian, which is running on a fusion reactor and uses complex runes, carvings, and high-grade quality ores, would take "weeks, months and even years for a goddess like me to understand.” Hephaestus answered.

“I guess that would be a great challenge, not just for you, but your followers as well, I take it?” Bell asked, seeing the glint of excitement of doing something you want with a passion in their eyes, the same he had in wanting to be a hero and exploring the dungeon.

“You have no idea, kid,” Tsubaki stated. “This is just the kind of challenge and inspiration we blacksmiths yearn to find in our craft.”

Bell smiled. “Glad I can bring something that can do that. If I find any more items or materials that could help, I’m willing to trade and let you study it~”

“Careful kid, or I might snatch you up as my personal client,” Tsubaki said with a teasing smile.

“GET YOUR OWN!” Hestia growled at Tsubaki.

“Not like that!” Both blacksmiths shouted at Hestia.

“She means as a party member going into the Dungeon to get items and craft gear and weapons for him,” Hephaestus stated. “And she normally only does that for high level adventures.”

Bell’s face paled as he realized… this was his skills at work again…!

“I… uh… I’m fine for right now. I just started adventuring not even a week in, so I’m still on the first floors. And I want to leave my options open right now.”

Tsubaki waved him off, still smiling. “I get ya, you're still an up and coming Familia. Can’t stunt your growth, both you and your guild, can’t have a Level 5 like myself making you dependant on me. It would be like giving you a strong weapon and you becoming dependent on it.”

Bell nodded, actually getting what she was saying. “Yes. I should grow my own power my own way.”

“Still, if your luck is this great with your finds, we can’t wait to see what you bring in,” Hephaestus stated, eager to see what the boy will bring in next.

[Feat Achieved! Get Hephaestus and Tsubaki interested in what you can bring in! +1 Platinum Item Ticket!]

Bell internally sweats while holding back a panic expression. ‘Oh no, her too?! And Tsubuki?! Shit! Why can’t I avoid getting these attention! It’ll be hard to keep my Chaos Gacha powers on the down low! If they find out! Goddess will kill me!’ He thought to himself. How is he supposed to keep his powers hidden from all this attention? He wants to be a hero! Hephaetus might be a good Goddess but Goddess Hestia told him absolutely not to reveal it to anyone unless they can trust them.

“Uuhhhh, th-thank you for your time! I have to get back to my Familia base!” Bell hurriedly said to Hephaetus.

“Are you sure? Why not stick around to see what type of weapons you need and their free of charg-”

“I’ll come back next time! Goddess we’re leaving!” Bell said to them while close to grabbing Hestia's arm.

“You go on ahead back to the base, I’ll meet you there. I need to talk with Hephaetus for a bit.” Hestia assured Bell.

“Ok goddess! And take care of Praeteion! I’ll be back to pick him up!” Bell rushed to the door and left the blacksmith in a hurry.

“Geez, what's with him? He seemed nervous for some reason.” Tsubaki muttered while looking confused.

Hestia looked away, not wanting to show her deadpan face, believing she knew what it was. Hephaetus might be Hestia’s best friend, and she would trust her, but even her friend might want to have Bell try and get things for her to try and forge new items for the thrill of new ideas. … And she said Hestia’s layabout ways were an issue…

“Anyway Hephaetus, can we talk?”

“If this is your debt, your Familia has paid it in full. I suggest you don’t try to take advantage of him ‘cause if I hear you did anything to him I will take him away from you.”

“Hey! Do I look like I would take advantage of someone?”

“You look like you would try to size him up just like you always do with Loki.”

“THAT’S DIFFERENT!” Hestia shouted, her face turning red. She then turned away, blushing and looking sheepish, as she tapped her fingers together. “Bell’s… a lot better than Loki… and a lot sweeter…”

Hephaetus blinked her good eye in surprise at seeing this kind of reaction from Hestia. She brushed it off for now, but got back to the topic at hand. “Still, even if you paid me back and then some with the research on Bell’s Familiar here, doesn’t give you carte blanche to request anything. Nothing to outrage that is.”

“Well, about that………”

“..........Goddammit Hestia.” Hephaetus groaned under her breath. “Your debts cleared and your asking for more?”

“It’s nothing about that!” Hestia quickly stopped Hephaetus. “It's………….. Can we have some privacy please? It's not for me, it's for Bell.” She said to Hephaetus.

Hephaetus furrowed her brow, seeing the look on Hestia's expression. Much more serious and uneasy, she thought it was one of those times that Hestia pleads for more money or something she needs but this was different, she said it concerns her Familia.

The Smith Goddess gets the feeling she has some sort of secret that she’s keeping to herself. Hephaetus turned to Tsubaki, her Familia saw the look on her Goddess and knew what she meant.

“I’ll be on the forge with Praeteion.” Tsubaki said to her goddess. “Come on Big guy, you're coming with me.”

“Be sure not to do anything with him! He’s Bell's Familiar and well, if you try anything…….. I think it might crush you considering how it fought against Bete.” Hestia called out to Tsubaki.

“No worries, I’m a blacksmith. I’ll know what I’m doing and be careful.” Tsubaki assured Hestia.

[I will also inform her if she’s going too far or about to touch a part she shouldn’t.]

With that, the two left.

“Let’s head to my office Hestia.” Hephaetus said to Hestia. Both of them walked to the Smith Goddess office. Closing the door and Hephaetus got to her desk. “So, what is it you want to talk about Hestia?”

“What I’m about to tell you, you have to SWEAR you won’t tell anyone,” Hestia stated, looking at her best friend with a stern look. “Not even your own Familia.”

“.... Is this about Bell’s power?” Hephaetus questioned Hestia with a raised eyebrow. “What skill is it he has?”

“Well that's the thing. Bell has……….. a special type of power.” Hestia spoke with hesitation. “Before he came to Orario, he was blessed by…………….. the seven gods of luck and fortune.”

“The Seven Lucky Gods?” Hephaestus’ eye shot up in surprise. Now this got her attention. “Those gods? They rarely get involved with ANYTHING both Tenkai and Genkai. Last I heard they caused some fortune/luck to some mortals. And that was hundreds of years ago.” Hephaetus spoke in great surprise.

The Seven Lucky Gods weren’t that much powerful as other Gods but what makes the other gods weary is their Luck powers. As far as she knows those are one of the few gods that can use Arcanum both Heaven and Earth since Luck is considered to be a natural power that every being has. Their domain over Luck and Fortune was what gave them the ‘Do Not Enter Genkai’ destination, since they could make it to where their followers could have good fortune from JUST having their Falna, and probably misfortune to everyone else if it worked that way, Last time someone tried to mess with them, that God suffered fifty years of misfortune and bad luck. So bad it was like THE worst experience they ever had in their life and when the curse broke. That God never left their room ever again. (Dark: To explain what is the worst experience, well lets say you combine that with watching Snow White movie (2025), Boruto, and……… Drawn Together. Combine all that times 5. That's how bad it is. Light: Yikes…)

“Yes, and they gave him a Skill… a special type that………….. allows him to get stronger.”

“....There’s something you're not telling me, Hestia, it doesn’t just help him get stronger does it?”

“............... It also grants him more skills. And I don’t mean his own skills but granting them. More than any other adventurers.” Hestia answered to Hephaetus.

“WHAT?!”

BAM!

“IT GIVES HIM MORE SKILLS AS WELL?!” Hephaetus slammed her hands on her desk. This is unheard of before! A blessing that can grant skills rather than the skills they currently have? Skills are a part of people’s life. They were born with the skills they have that are untapped. If a God grants them Falna it helps them awaken the skill and grows.

“Yes, and there’s more.”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN MORE!?”

“I……….I can’t say.” Hestia spoke with hesitation and an uneasy tone. “I promised him to keep it a secret. If word gets out of what type of skill he has……………. You already know what they're gonna do to him, especially Ishtar.”

Hephaetus let out a long suffering sigh, as she slumped down in her chair, rubbing the bridge of her nose. “That is a lot to drop on me… And no wonder you’re so worried about this getting out… Hell… if what you're saying is true… he could have ACTUALLY gotten a blacksmithing skill and still be able to fight in the dungeon like a veteran adventurer as well, which is lodcous…YOu either have to CHOSE one or the other…”  She then gave Hestia a sharp glare. “I take it these ‘skills’ are what allowed him to find his Familiar in the dungeon that we are studying?”

“..... It did.”

“Hestia, why didn’t you report this to Ouranos?” Hephaetus asked her friend. “He is the primordial god and he can protect him.”

“I did at first but………….. but Bell’s dream was to become a hero.” Hestia answered Hephaetus. “If I reported him, Ouranos would lock him away under Guild protection, and that would shatter his heart. He’d never get to go into the Dungeon, never get to save girls, never get to be the hero he dreams of becoming. He’s already got enough attention, finding Praetorian, and reaching the sixth floor in less than a week. If Ouranos found out about his skill he would be confined.”

Hephaetus let out a sigh. “You can’t hide this forever Hestia. Sooner or later they will find out about this. Not only that, there can and will be punishments if you hide this from him. What if he somehow got a skill that was like a God’s power in the dungeon?" Hephaetus paused for a second and then pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling a headache coming from the idea. “I can’t believe I’m actually considering that possibility… but with how those Seven are… I wouldn’t put it past them…” She said, letting out a pain filled sigh.

“I know.”

“What is the reason why you're telling me this Hestia?”

“........ I……….. I want your help……… in making Bell’s weapon.”

(Light: Looks like even without Liaris Freese, Bell’s getting his knife early. Guess that's how things are. Dark:  Agreed.)

Hephaetus gave her a flat look. “... I really should refuse this request… You know that, right?”

Hestia looked at her, her determination never wavering. “I know this is something huge I’m asking for, but this is not for me, it’s for Bell. I want him to be safe, I want him to have something that’ll get as strong as he does, so he can come home to me.”

Hephaetus stayed silent from Hestia's reason. Seeing the look on her expression she seemed sincere and determined, more caring to her Familia member. Never thought that Hephaetus would ever see that Hestia would get her first Familia member and someone who happens to be a potential big target. Then again Hestia is the Goddess of Hearth.

“Do you think it’ll be easy to forge him a weapon? A weapon personally made by me?”

“I know it won’t be easy. And I know that, even with you studying Praetorian, I know it’s going to be a huge duet as well… But I’m willing to work with Bell, even if I have to get work in your shop with my Potato Snack Stand, to help pay it off.”

Hephaetus let out a huff of amusement. “I don’t know whether this new you is better or worse, but I can see Bell means a lot to you, and you have grown attached to him for just a few short days.”

“So will you?”

“Normally, I would charge you with a creation of my own, combined with materials and high grade runes personally carved by me.”

“How much?”

“200 million Valis, per weapon, and that’s the small ones.”

“WHAT?! 200 MILLION VALIS?!”

“BUT!” Hephaetus stopped her. “Considering your Familia boy let me study his familiar Automata Golem and provided what might be one of my greatest inventions if I study Praeteion, I’ll let this price slide.” She stated. “As well as other rare materials he might find with how his Luck is, I’m willing to forge his weapon. But this WILL the whole duet you I earned from you. That seems fair?”

“I think it’s more than fair, with studying Praeteion, you do have a treasure trove of materials to study,” Hestia agrees. “So would it be enough for one Big Weapon, or two Small Weapons? Sense you said that your smallest weapons would be 200 million…” She physically flinched at the price for a small weapon costing THAT much, even one forged from her best friend. And she still had to haggle a bit.

“Fine, two weapons. But that's only because of Praeteion. No more.”

“PHEW! Thank you Hephaetus. Your a good frien-”

“So long he visits me. He does seem interesting, a cute little boy. I wouldn’t mind spending time with him.”

“I CHANGE MY MIND! YOUR A HORRIBLE FRIEND! WHY DON’T PEOPLE GET IT! BELL IS MINE!”

“I kid, I kid,” Hephaetus said, smirking at the reaction of her friend. “I already have to deal with one child who’s already a hassle that’s trying to win my heart. He’s just too stubborn to let go of a grudge against his family.”

“Oh really?”

“Yup. It’s very obvious.” Hephaestus then got serious. “So, what weapons should I make for him?”

“Well, Bell says he’s good with knives, and has a skill for bladed weapons, and he wants a shield to see if it counts as a Blunt Weapon to fight with for his Skill with Blunt Weaponry, and be used for defence as well.” Hestia informed, moving past her friend rage-baiting her like that.

“An odd combo, but not unheard of,” Hephaestus stated, thinking of a few ideas. “I take it he has other ‘skills’ that can help with having more range with shorter weapons?”

“You don’t know the half of it…” Herstisa said in a deadpan. His Lightning and Frozen Lightning Magic coming to her mind.

“Alright, come back in a week and they’ll be ready.” Hephaetus said to Hestia.

Hestia bowed and thanked her friend once more before leaving.

When Hestia was a good some away, Hephaetus then slumped in her chair again, and pulled out a bottle of the strongest and hardest whiskey she had in her secret stash, before pulling the cork off with her teeth, and started to chug the damn thing. After drinking about half the stuff, she stopped and let out a sighh, before pinching the bridge of her nose. “Hestia… You and that boy are going to be a real headache… I just know it…”

To be Continued…

AN:

Dark: (Takes a deep breath and slumps down the chair.) Holy FUCK! This has to be one of the HUGEST chapters we’ve made!

Not to mention trying to actually hold BACK on the rewards for Bell. That kid does overachieve to the max…

Dark: You think it's easy? Do you know how much rewards we would’ve given Bell? Let me tell you, do you know how long movie credits are? That long.

Maybe even longer… And we haven’t even gotten to him meeting Ais yet!

Dark: Two things happened, one: we were simply biased with Bell and made him lucky and two………….. he’s just really lucky considering the Lucky Gods blessed him.

Well, at least he’s a good kid, with a good heart. … I’m just worried about a few Gods and ‘Adventurers’ that will want him for his skills, or just to have him as a prize toy…

Dark: Three words, Ishtar and Freya.

Don't forget Apollo and Zanis Lustra… Those two would see him as a playing piece on a chess board… Hell, if Zanis could, he’d try to force Bell to get him something that could make Soma Wine even MORE addicting and bypass all resistances… (Shiver)

Dark: As much as we love to put in more rolls and luck for Bell, we REALLY need to keep in control because we do not want to make him TOO FUCKING OP.

Yeah, we don't want him to be on par with Ottar… AT LEVEL 1!

Dark: Exactly, and even write a HUGE chapter. We do not want to put all the episodes in one.

Well, we should end it here now. We hope you enjoyed the chapter, and please leave a like, follow, fave, kudo, bookmark, starr, and anything else where you read this. Anything else Dark?

Dark: That's it, thank you guys for reading our story. We had a LOT of fun writing this one down.

And with that, we’ll see you all in the next chapter.

Dark: Please leave a review and fav’s, it helps out a lot. Until next time!

See ya.

Please R&R
