Lomedy woke up in sweat, thanks to the annoying sound coming from his phone. He turned it off and fought an internal battle with the devil on his shoulder on whether he should skip or not.
"Curse high school bro." he mumbled to himself.
He stood up despite his grumpy mood today, that hopefully will come to an end when he meets his friend ─FlameFrags─ Spoiler alert: it didnt, in fact the thought of flame made it even worse.
How, you may ask? Its because Lomedy has romantic feelings for him, they're just friends for void's sake! Anyway Lomedy has to go now, because if he doesn't his mother will whoop his ass so far back─he'll reach his school in no time. Ouch.. He better get going.
Lomedy went downstairs, his quick footsteps
He opened the door to meet his best friend, Tyler. "Hey, loms! Do yo-" Tyler stopped talking. He noticed something was off.. "Yo bro, is everything ok?" Tyler asked, looking concerned. Lomedy shook his head.
"Oh, yeah..! just in a bad mood today.. heh.." Lomedy chuckled, he briefly changed the topic by bringing up a test. In which Tyler's response was "Fuck you bro, you just ruined my mood."
Lomedy giggled at his joke. "Whatever man. Let's just go to school." Tyler nodded, making a sound of approval. They quietly walk together in comfortable silence. After 20 minutes of walking and goofing around, the duo finally made an appearance at the gate of Unstable High.
The gate looked intimidating to some students, but really its just the aura coming from the scary teachers. Tyler insisted that they quickly go inside but Lomedy really wanted to walk together with Flame.
"Dude if we don't go, Sir MinuteTech will genuinely slime us out in homeroom." Tyler shook his best friend, thinking that will help Lomedy's brain stop from drooling at the thought of Flame. Man maybe he is that down bad
"Ugh, fine bro. But I'm hanging out with Flame later." Lomedy shooed away the annoying bug in front of him. He left Tyler behind to go to his classroom. "Whatever loms! I was just gonna go with youri anyway!" Tyler shouted while trying to catch up with him.
About 30 minutes of slacking around, Sir Minute finally came inside the classroom. His mysterious aura scared most of the students, making stop in their tracks, immediately sitting in their desks and shutting their mouths. Although Sir Minute wasn't that strict,
there was no doubt that he is highkey scary. Most of the students had their mouths zipped, but yet there was an annoying purple dragon disturbing the whole class.
Minute quietly glared at Wemmbu, who was yapping to Eggchan. Possibly about how fucking annoying Flame is. Egg noticed the terrifying man glaring at them and awkwardly backed away from wemmbu. In which Wemmbu once again, didnt notice. Until someone tapped on his shoulder.
Wemmbu felt it and slowly shut his mouth. Lomedy found it funny, but he had to keep his laugh to himself. Minute cleared his throat and started talking about his stuff? Lomedy wasn't even paying attention. Neither any of them were listening too, except for parrot. So who knows? Except for parrot.
After hours passed by the students started to walk to the cafeteria. Lomedy took that as an opportunity to open twitter and hopefully find another funny confession on his school's confession wall.

Lomedy's happy levels quickly went down to zero. Unfortunately to his horror, someone made a tweet about him─asking if he was single-?! Now he definitely knows Manepear was behind this and he needed to set someone with him, but why?
"Whatever! I need some time to process this... maybe some food will help.. Mm" Lomedy mumbled to himself like a hungry man. He headed over to the lunch lady hoping today's menu wont poison him again.

FlameFrags and Manepear were outside of the school, their voices can be heard from 30 meters away from them. But no one bothered to tell them to tone it down.
"Bro there was no need in sending that!" Flame tried stealing Mane's phone in order to stop him from doing shit like that ever. "You could've just directly asked Lomedy!" He complained once again. Mane quickly shushed him.
"No bro. If I directly ask to Lomedy he'll suspect that I'm the one who's interested in him!" Flame rolled his eyes, cause Mane was right. Who in their right mind wouldn't think the same too? "Yeah yeah whatever bro." Mane sneakily pinched Flame's side.
And Flame took that personally.
And that Mane and Flame started bickering again. "No dude, like actually this is our master plan for you to not end up yearning for him and a lonely man in the future!" Mane tried to reassure his little brother."Yo bro what do you mean our plan!? Are you gonna try to steal my boy too?!"
"Nah bro I dont swing like that way. I like someone who's worthy and the same level as me bro!" He looked away from the disgusting rodent in front of him.
"Well clearly if you're talking about IQ then there's a clear difference between you, Lomedy and me!" He raised his voice so the lion can hear it clearly with his pea sized brain.
"You know I'm smart, boy!" He pointed at his little brother.
"Smart in what? Big back lessons!?"
"Well at least I'm not short! Like a fuckass mouse! And I'm not pining on my best friend for that matter!"

Flame's phone was ringing. He paused his 'fight' with Mane to check on his phone. Lomedy is calling him, and he needed to pick it up. "Uhm bro I gotta answer this.. go with..um your food or something I don't care." Flame walked away to answer the call. Once he was sure he was alone, he pressed down 'accept'.
"Uh Flame?" Lomedy's soothing voice was unfortunately a bit choppy on his side but Flame didnt really care. "Uh yo wassup Lommy?" His stupid mouth accidentally blurted out a nickname for Lomedy. There was a short pause following with awkward silence but Lomedy was the one who broke it.
"Ooh I guess we're using nicknames now?" Lomedy softly laughed at his own joke. Flame couldn't help but fall in love harder to his laugh. "So, flamey!"
Gosh.. his silly little nickname on his tongue was way adorable than Flame ever imagined. Flame immediately realized he was already getting distracted by a few words.
"Flamey, do you wanna hang out later?" Lomedy suddenly asked. Flame was too lost in his thoughts to process what his best friend said. His ears and cheeks were burning like real hard.
"Uh. Um. Sure. When?" He hesitated before answering while looking at the sky. "After class, if you have anything to do-"
"Nah I'm free, let's hang out." Flame interrupted, he lied straight through his teeth just to hang out with his best friend, his partner, his Lomedy.
"Oh? Wow I thought you were busy, hehe. See you later Flameey!" Lomedy hung up even before Flame could react. Flame laughed to himself, not knowing the most unstable nuisance and the most annoying fighter was behind him─eavesdropping.
"Wait, dawg. What do you mean you're free later!?" Spoke shouted, his jaw dropped. "Flame! You do know that you have to be in this meeting later!" Wemmbu's voice was like noise pollution to Flame's ears so he rudely shushed both of them.
"Bro it's just one time! A-and why are you guys eavesdropping on me!?" Flame put his hands up in defense. "Uhm... because... I..?" Spoke tried to think of an excuse. "No, why are you skipping the meeting?" Wemmbu pointed at him
"Dawg its just one me-" Flame tried to answer his question but a certain voidling interrupted him. "Oh! Its because his beautiful Lommy had asked him on a date!" Spoke said in a sing song voice.
"Lomedy and Flamefrags sitting in a tree!" He sang. And Wemmbu quickly continued the song. He and Spoke loved to tease Flame. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" At this point Flame's face looked like a tomato now. "Yo shush!"
"D'alright we're going now." Wemmbu pushed his not-by-blood brother away from the increasingly angry dreadhead. 'Fuck my chungus life.' Flame scoffed.
The bell rang indicating it was time for more class, he walked to his classroom─hoping that this day would end now. He spotted Lomedy sitting alone. He noticed the brunette's ears relaxed and Flame's ears also imitated his movements too.
"Yo lomedy." He greeted causally, hoping the other wouldn't notice something about him. "Hi Flame... Uh.. do you want to sit next to me..?" Lomedy's ears slowly drooped in nervousness. His voice was getting quieter.
Flame didn't say a word, he didn't have to. He sat down and he relaxed his ears so Lomedy could feel more safer around him. When the teacher came there was comfortable silence between the two. The other worked on his notes while the other was just paying attention.
But once in a while one of them stealed glances at the other, sometimes they both took glances at the same time. And each time they got caught, their reactions were different. Flame would just clear his throat and subtly hide his face; Lomedy would just look away or bury his face in his notes in embarrassment.
It was clear to everyone but the two that there was something between them─something none of them could ever describe.
After some time, the teacher dismissed them. Most of the students walked out, while some just stayed there cleaning up their things. Flame and Lomedy─for in what felt like forever─ finally looked at each other without a word, they got up.
Flame got up first, taking Lomedy’s hand and picked him up from his chair. Lomedy yelped at the sudden contact. He then left the classroom with his best friend. Looks like the day was saved by his own (hopefully) future lover!
