Summary
Set in 1950s New York, you are hailed as the future of America after being the first successful subject of Vought’s newly perfected Compound V. Recruited into Soldier Boy’s rising team alongside Private Angel, Bombsight, and Torpedo, you're tasked with hunting down a mystery killer who's been targeting civilians across the city—a string of murders threatening both public order and Vought’s carefully manufactured image of patriotism.
But beneath the red lipstick, camera flashes, and wartime propaganda lies a secret violent enough to destroy everything: you never wanted to be a hero. Frederick Vought stole your humanity in the name of progress, and you intend to make him suffer for it.
As the investigation spirals deeper into corruption, racism, and bloodshed, you find yourself pulled into a toxic, obsessive relationship with Soldier Boy. He sees the freak Vought created, and you see the emptiness behind America’s greatest hero.
