“Rikka! Rikka, get the camera!” She heard Chase hiss.
She looked up from her book to where Chase was sitting at the other end of the couch, watching TV. Buddy was curled up in Chase’s lap, sleeping peacefully, his face comically mashed into Chase’s abdomen. Oh, her boys. She felt her heart melting, putting aside her novel immediately and pulling out her phone.
She carefully scooted over on the couch, trying not to jostle Buddy awake and aimed her camera. As she set up the shot, Buddy let out a grumbly snore and sighed deeply. Chase looked like he might explode from how cute it all was.
She took at least 10 pictures, all equally adorable. How could they not be, when she had such darling subjects?
