Summary
After surviving a childhood shaped by trafficking, violence and silence, Nuri is brought to Velaris where the Night Court slowly becomes the family she never believed she deserved. Raised by Nesta and Cassian, fiercely loved by the Inner Circle, and bound soul-deep to Nyx, she grows from a terrified child into a brilliant political strategist whose mind begins reshaping the future of Prythian itself. Ten years later: Nuri, now twenty-nine, has become something far more dangerous than the frightened girl who once arrived in Velaris. Brilliant, politically feared, emotionally guarded and carrying both immense power and unresolved grief, she must navigate a Prythian growing increasingly unstable while confronting the lingering ghosts of love, loss, destiny and the terrifying force she may one day become.
