In another universe, Sirius Black played a cruel prank on Severus Snape and history marched obediently towards tragedy. In this one, Sirius realised halfway through fifth year that he wanted to shove Snape against the wall and kiss him until one of them lost the fight with gravity. History, understandably, never recovered.
