Searching for a Man that Should be Dead

Summary:

Avery knew that D3rlord was gone. He knew that the moment that his screen told him that he died and he couldn't get back into the caves or the gates. He knew it was hopeless and he should move on with his life. And for a while, he kind of did. Kind of. He forced himself to read the Yellow King to try and understand what might have gone on to make his grief a little less painful. And he tried his best to keep his job at the cafe he worked at. Until a man that he didn't recognize at first came in for tea.

Avery meets D3rlord at a coffee shop and realizes that he's alive and gay- I mean well.

Derek is a Puerto Rican with his tips dyed red. When the Yellow King was taking over his brain, he fainted while his mother was visiting. He was brought to the hospital, the doctors said it was a tumor and was in bed rest for four months.
Avery is Italian with dyed green hair with black roots. When Avery was kicked out, he wasn’t able to get back into the cave and he rage quit. While Derek was recovering, Avery was trying to figure out what was the Yellow King by reading the book. He didn’t quite understand it, but he knew that he had to go back to work at the local coffee shop.
