   Summary

   They stay on the roof until it’s dark, passing a bottle back and forth and sucking up the warm air until it runs cold. They turn through the book like it’s an ancient tome, touch their fingers against scribbled names in pencil until they smudge. Staining their fingers with something almost holy.
