NOX AEVUM Lore Bible

Summary:

A companion lore bible for the Supernatural rewrite, containing character profiles, timeline notes, canon changes, relationship guides, Hawthorne House worldbuilding, reset rules, mythology entries, and reference material for Maia Anderson Winchester’s story.

This guide follows the altered timeline created when Maia wakes in her nineteen-year-old body with memories of a future that no longer exists. As she begins changing deaths, rebuilding Hawthorne House, saving the people she once lost, and crossing paths with the Winchesters all over again, the world around her starts to shift in ways even she cannot fully predict.

Chapter 1: WELCOME

Chapter Text

1. Welcome / How to Use This Lore Bible

Welcome to the lore bible for this Supernatural rewrite.

This guide exists because this story is not just a simple canon-divergent romance. It is a reset timeline, a memory fracture, a hunter sanctuary story, a family legacy story, and a long, messy argument with fate itself. There are original characters, altered canon events, old timeline memories, new timeline consequences, and a growing web of relationships that will become more important as the series unfolds.

In other words: there is a lot happening here.

This lore bible is here to help.

Think of it as a reference guide, not required reading. You do not need to memorize every profile, timeline note, or worldbuilding detail to understand the fic. The story itself will give you what you need as you go. This guide is simply here for anyone who wants extra context, wants to refresh their memory, or wants to check details without digging through chapters like a sleep-deprived hunter searching through Bobby Singer’s library at three in the morning.

This guide will grow alongside the story. As more chapters are posted, more sections will be added or expanded. Character profiles may update. Timeline notes may become more detailed. Hawthorne House will gain more rooms, rules, staff, and history. The mythology around the reset, the Time Wraiths, anchor events, and Maia’s memories will also become clearer as the story reveals more.

Some sections will be spoiler-light. Others may contain spoilers for already-posted chapters. Anything that touches on major future reveals will either be left vague, marked clearly, or saved for later updates. I want this to be useful without ruining the experience of watching the story unfold.

A Few Things to Know Before Using This Guide

This fic follows the emotional backbone of Supernatural, but it does not follow canon perfectly. Some events still happen. Some events change. Some deaths are delayed, avoided, or altered. Some characters survive longer than they did before. Some consequences arrive in completely new ways. The point of this rewrite is not to erase every painful thing from canon, but to explore what happens when someone with future memories tries to change the shape of the story without fully understanding what the universe will demand in return.

Maia Anderson’s presence changes things. Sometimes those changes are small. Sometimes they are enormous. Sometimes they help. Sometimes they create brand-new problems. She is not a magical fix-it button, and she cannot simply prevent every tragedy because she remembers it. There are rules to the reset timeline. There are anchor events that resist change. There are ripple effects. There are consequences.

And there are things in the dark that notice when fate starts bleeding at the seams.

The lore bible will eventually include character profiles, relationship guides, timeline notes, Hawthorne House information, canon change explanations, family trees, mythology entries, and frequently asked questions. It will cover both the emotional pieces of the story and the practical ones: who knows what, when things happen, what changed from canon, how Hawthorne House works, why certain choices matter, and why some events cannot be avoided as easily as Maia wishes they could be.

This is also where I will keep track of the larger worldbuilding that may not always fit neatly into a chapter. The Anderson family’s history, Dahlia’s role in Hawthorne House, Dean and Maia’s old timeline connection, Sam’s altered path, the rules of memory and time, the public face of the nonprofit, the hidden hunter clinic, and the long-term consequences of rewriting fate will all have space here.

The guide is meant to be read however you want. You can read it straight through like a companion book, check only the sections you need, or ignore it until a detail makes you go, “Wait, hold on, what year are we in again?” That is exactly what it is here for.

Above all, this lore bible is meant to make the world feel fuller, not heavier.

This story is still about love, family, grief, survival, and the stubborn, reckless hope of trying to build something better in a universe that keeps insisting tragedy is inevitable. It is about hunters being allowed to heal. It is about children not being raised as weapons. It is about Dean Winchester being given a future he never thought he was allowed to want. It is about Sam finding a life that does not make him choose between normal and necessary. It is about Dahlia surviving the story that once killed her. It is about Zachary and Meredith Anderson standing beside their daughter in a war against something older and colder than monsters.

And at the center of it all, it is about Maia Anderson Winchester: a woman who remembers too much, loves too fiercely, and refuses to let time decide which lives are worth keeping.

So welcome to the lore bible.

The salt lines are checked.

The wards are holding.

Come on in.
