Summary
Team 7's second C-rank mission goes catastrophically wrong when all four of them are caught in a space-time seal and thrown into a dimension with no chakra, no shinobi, and technology beyond anything they’ve ever seen.
Stranded in modern-day New York City, the only person willing to help is Riley, a twenty-two-year-old woman whose worst problem used to be surviving her commute from Stamford to New York City while pretending she was coping with her parents’ deaths.
Kakashi has to figure out how to get his team home while navigating a world where their lives have been turned into entertainment, and Riley is forced to confront the fact that the traumatized child soldiers she watched on television are very, very real.
