— Well… do you know who Anna likes? Like…romantically? — it was the 5th time in the night that Anton asked Rüdiger about who his sister liked. Why was he like this so suddenly? It was clear that Anton did like Anna. Anna Von Schlotterstein, the milk-drinker vampire. The same Anna that did not have her ‘real’ vampire fangs yet. The same powerful & independent Anna. ‘Anna, Anna, Anna’. All the little vampire could hear was his sister’s name.
— No, Anton. I do not know anything. Could you please move on and talk about a different topic?
— Oh. Yeah, sure! — Thank Godness, said Rüdiger in his mind.
— What’s a classic vampire movie? Is it romantic? Anna likes romantic vampire stories. — there he was again. This was the last straw.
— For Dracula, Anthony! Could you please SHUT UP about my sister for JUST a conversation? I’m sick about you talking and talking and talking about Anna, just shut your stupid mouth for once!
—…Jeez, Rudy. Chill out…
— No, no. Nothing about ‘chill out’ or ‘relax’. You need to talk it with HER. For us, the other people around you, it’s TIRING, you know?

Anton has been a little bit too close with Anna. He talks with her all day long, plays with her, draws with her, does everything with her. Everything he did with Rüdiger, he does it with Anna. Even tho Rüdiger himself told him to shut up and stuff, he didn’t mean “go away and stop talking to me”. It’s like if Anton replaced him for Anna. The vampire believes that Anton is mad at him, and that’s why he doesn’t talk with him much. So he decided to be a real ‘man’ and talk with him to clarify things.

Knock-knock. That’s what Anton hears from his window one night.
— Rudy? — the boy asks to the mysterious figure outside.
— Open the window…please. — the vampire replies. Anton does as ordered.
— Look, Anton. I’m really sorry for telling you hurtful stuff and if you don’t accept my apologies it’s totally okay and if you don’t wanna see me ever again it’s okay too and— his voice started to crack. — If you want me to go away and…and actually leave you alone…—
The vampire broke in tears.
— Oh, Rudy…I would never, ever, ever want to stop being your friend! It’s okay… that won’t happen. I love you as a brother, and I’d be very sad after if I ever cut you off.
— …You’re such an angel, Tony. A beautiful, kind angel. I love you so much. I love you more than a brother, I love you like a partner. Romantically. I always dream about us holding hands, kissing, hugging… I’d kill myself if I ever make our friendship stop. — the vampire started to laugh while sobbing — It’s funny, ridiculous, even! But it’s what I actually feel.
— I didn’t want to say it, but I also love you like a boyfriend. I’d love to be your boyfriend and kiss you. — Anton said while his cheeks turned a deep pink.
Both boys gave eachother a quick kiss on the lips and hugged.
