Chapter Text
"Ted?"
Ted grabbed at his chest. The gunshot was still ringing in his ears. Fuck! He was gonna die! He was gonna die! Oh shit there was so much blood there was- Nothing. His shirt didn't have a hole in it and...it at least felt dry.
He risked opening his eyes. Yellow. Yellow? As he got up, he hit his head on a very low ceiling. Wherever he was, he could do no more than crouch in here.
"What the fuck? She fuckin roofied me!"
This sure was a first for him and he didn't even know he could still have those! Ted looked around for something, anything to identify where he was but no matter where he turned, it looked like he was in a smooth, featureless, yellow box. Now that he thought about it - Where was the light coming from?
Was he hallucinating? Had the rich hottie drugged him after all? This didn't feel like drugs but it also didn't feel real. It couldn't be real.
"OH! YOU'RE AWAKE! HOW ARE YOU FEELING, TEDDY BEAR? :D"
The shrill voice bounced off the walls of the Box and right into Teds head, instantly giving him a headache.
"WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER! oUo"
It laughed. And as it did, Ted could feel the walls to his sides moving just a tiny bit closer together.
Ted thanked God, or whoever was responsible for making him so damn handsome, that they didn't give him claustrophobia.
"Who the fuck are you? Where am I?!"
"OH YOU'RE TUCKED AWAY SAFELY JUUUUST WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO GET DAMAGED ANY MORE THAN YOU HAVE TO, RIGHT TEDDY BEAR? :3"
Ted pressed his hands against his ears as hard as he could. Anything to get that voice out! Out. Out! Out!
"What the fuck is this Jigsaw shit? Let me out! I- Uh... fuck what was the safeword again? Termites! Apotheosis! Banana?"
He had trouble forming any coherent thought at all. He just wasn't able to. Not with this fucking voice in his head. Please let this be just some fucked up sex thing that rich lady was into.
"OH NONONO. DON'T TRY AND GET OUT! I WOULD HATE FOR YOU TO GET HURT! NOT WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY GAMES WE HAVE TO PLAY! ;)"
Stop. Stop. Stop! Ted's head felt like it was being split in two.
"Look I'm sorry I am up for a lot of stuff but this is too far! Just let me go home and I'll get you the number of like 5 lanky sleezeballs I know who you can pay to do anythi-"
"TEDDY BEEEEAR. YOU DON'T SEEM TO GET WHERE YOU ARE. HERE, LET ME SHOW YOU! :)"
Ted could feel the ceiling of the Box lifting. Was he finally getting out? Oh thank god. Now he felt himself getting lifted up by his collar.
Wait.
What the fuck?
What?
How?
Oh god.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!
That couldn't be real. He had to be hallucinating. Surely, he was on some kind of drugs. Or having a horrible nightmare. It wasn't real.
None!
Of!
This!
Was!
Real!
This was all a nightmare that he would wake up from any moment now! Any moment!
He got dropped back into the box, falling face first onto the cold, hard floor. The bright yellow walls were closer again. The ceiling was back. If he could do anything right now he would try steadying his erratic breathing.
The voice came back: "YOU SEE, TEDDY? I AM NOT SO SCARY. NOT ONE OF YOU LITTLE FLESHY ONES. c;"
God was not real.
Or if he was he could go fuck himself.
"NOW, ARE YOU READY FOR OUR FIRST GAME? :D"
Ted could feel tears running down his face. He wanted to go home. Go home and wake up on the shitty, broken blow up mattress that made all his joints hurt like hell and forget about...this.
"AWW DON'T YOU CRY. WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED YET! :) YOU SEE, YOU ARE A VEEEEERY SPECIAL ONE, TEDDY. NOT MANY OF YOU HAVE SUCH A....NICE LITTLE BROTHER OWO"
An icy shudder ran down Ted's back: "No, please. Please stay the fuck away from Petey."
"AWWW, DON'T WORRY. I WON'T DO AAAAANYTHING. ;3"
There was that laugh again. That head splitting laugh. It was even worse than the voice.
"THIS GAME IS CALLED 'WATCH, TED, WATCH!' I HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR A TED SPANKOFFSKI TO PLAY THIS WITH! OOOOHHH THIS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN! ^^"
Sure. Whatever. Whatever makes this voice stop laughing.
"DON'T WORRY, I WILL TRY AND KEEP QUIET HEHEHE. I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL THE FUN FOR YOU! ;>"
One of the Walls of the Box seemed to disappear. He could see his apartment! The door was open and a young man was standing in the doorfr- "Petey! Oh god Petey quick we need to get out of here we-"
Ted scrambled towards his apartment only to smash face first into an invisible wall.
The laugh started again. Ted tried to cower away from it but that was impossible when it now seemed to be coming from inside of his head.
"OHHH SILLY TEDDY BEAR! WE ARE PLAYING 'WATCH, TED, WATCH'! NOT 'HIT YOUR HEAD LIKE THE STUPID BASTARD YOU ARE'! SILLY SILLY~"
Ted could still see the apartment, but he could not get out of the box. Petey did not hear him. Not even banging on that infernal, invisible wall lead to any reaction. All it seemed to do was make the ones around him creep closer together.
"Ted? Come on, this isn't funny. If it weren't for Steph I would still be stuck at camp."
Petey started looking around the apartment in search of his brother. He was limping badly. Shit, what had happened to him?
Ted was here, Petey. Your brother is right here can't you see?
But no he couldn't. The game was about watching, after all. Watching things play out. And that creature's game had just begun.
