    Several hours ago, he was in heaven, stuck organizing and sending the second coming down to doom humanity. And now none of that mattered; all that he wanted for the past several years was to be in this exact spot with Crowley.

    The only difference between now and what he'd been dreaming about since he left was, well, earth.

    “As far as I can tell, the entirety of creation is us and this bookshop.” Crowley turned slowly and glanced around the room. “I don’t think you're going to get many customers.”

    He was right about that, at least; he probably wouldn't get any more customers. And if this was going the direction he thought it was, he never would have any again.
