After awards night, the end of year rolled around sooner than expected. Before long at all, it was the last day of school for 2025.
Isaac’s whole friend group had been planning a party to celebrate the end of year 8, and of course, Arik was his plus one (he wasn’t invited in the first place because he’d rather hang out with his ex-girlfriend then sit with his friend group (this didn’t bother Isaac though because he knew Arik was strictly gay and was only trying to seem straight to hide their relationship))
The party wasn’t too big, maybe 15 – 20 people from the grade all off in their own groups. The best thing was that there were no parents’ home.
Caelen’s parents had always been workaholics, so he was used to the house being empty. He also took advantage of it.
Isaac was the first person Caelen mentioned the party to, which was a little weird since he didn’t tell anyone else until three weeks later… Thinking about it now, Caelen had always seemed to try and get closer to Isaac, more so than his other friends…
Anyway, the sound of his friends rushing over when he and Arik arrived ripped him out of his thoughts. It can’t have meant much anyway, just being friendly.
As the night went on, everyone’s small groups eventually merged to one as they started to play games.
Truth or dare was first.
Isaac being the angel he is, kept picking truth, not wanting to do the disgusting dares that boys would make.
Arik only chose dare and had to drink toilet water.
The game went on for a couple rounds until people were sick of Isaac only picking truth and forced him to do a dare. He fought for a couple minutes, going back and forth on why he should have free will and all that smarty pants shit.
He reluctantly agreed and everyone started plotting.
Aykus, who had always been slightly suspicious of Isaac and Arik, was the one who came up with the final dare.
“Seven Minutes in Heaven.”
Which led to seven minutes of Isaac yelling about how he would not be doing that.
