Summary
by the time he turned 35, still single and child-free, Buck had accepted that it would most likely be his reality. He wouldn’t get what he wanted, not traditionally, but he could find comfort in a platonic partnership with Eddie and in being involved in the raising of his child. There would be no picket white fence and golden retriever, sure, but Buck wouldn’t exchange either of the Diaz boys for anything in the world, certainly not for pieces of wood and a quadrupedal animal. The choice was easy!
