Summary
AU: Ash and Shorter are just two childhood friends in a New York high school, dealing with their almost adult problems, reading books in the city library and eating McDonald's instead of attending classes. At the end of the final school year, a new student appears in the class, who seems to know little to no English and is transferred for unknown reasons. Ash knows nothing about Japanese culture.
