Well…here he was.Standing in front of KADE.Harry didn’t know why…but he felt…nervous?This was the first time he has ever felt so nervous to go back to school…the winter break was over,he’s going back to KADE,he’s gonna see his classmates again,he’s gonna see his roommate again,he’s gonna see Rev Vennett again…he’s gonna see Rev Vennett again!Just at the thought Harry can feel his palms getting sweaty and his heart racing. He takes a deep breath,trying to calm himself down as he walks inside the school. “C’mon,wolf,what’s gotten into you…” He asked himself,pulling his ears with a groan.Ever since Rev Vennett showed up to the field that day in the first semester and killed his roommate…Harry just…he just thought he was so cool!Every time they bumped into each other in the halls Harry tried to act cool,tried to impress Rev,but he just ended up embarrassing himself…He took deep breaths,trying to calm himself,he was too busy trying to distract himself from the thoughts about Rev that he didn’t even notice his roommate approaching him. “Yo,Harry!So good seeing you again!” Mino ran towards him,wrapping him in a tight hug,making Harry stumble back,both of them almost falling down. “Wassup,dude?Woah…you look red!Are you sick?Awh man!I was just thinking we could do a practice round of football!Like good old days!” Harry looked at Mino,his ears twitching. “U-uh,y-yeah…n-no,I’m not sick!I’m just…uh…I’m…thinking!” ‘Yeah,that will do it for sure,nice one,wolf’ he thought.”Really?Thinking?About what?C’mon,tell me!I’m your best friend after all!C’mon,let’s go back in our dorm!” Mino dragged him with no warning,making Harry stumble as he was dragged towards their dormitory.Once inside,Mino sat down on his bed before sitting Harry next to him. “Alright,wrap it up.What’s happening?You’re redder than Akuma,man!” Harry,unironically,blushed even more at the observation.His tail thumped frantically against the bed,getting a laugh out,then he noticed Harry’s ears,pinned back. “Hey,you good,man?”
“H-huh?Yeah…it’s just…actually,I don’t know what’s happening myself.” “Really?You don’t know what’s happening?” Mino scooted closer,immediately being pushed back jokingly by Harry. “Yeah…I’m not so sure. It all just started when Rev,you know,Rev Vennett,killed you again on the football field.” “Wow,thanks for reminding me about my death.” “Oh,shut up-“ Harry’s eyes widened. He stared at his hands in his lap,his tail thumping hard against the soft mattress. “Mino. I have a crush on Rev Vennett.” He confessed to his roommate and best friend,letting out a groan before falling down on the bed. He stared at the ceiling. “Great. I have a crush on the guy and every time we met I just embarrassed myself!” Mino let out a laugh,looking at his roommate. “That’s it,man?You got so worked up over a crush?Damn,I knew something was up but I didn’t think you got a crush on the guy that murdered me!” Harry groaned,looking up at his best friend. “Are you mad at me?” “Nah,I’m chill with Rev.You know,I may not know shit about romance,but I’ll be your wingman!I’m gonna help you win Rev Vennett’s heart!” Mino stood up,hands on hips as he looked down at his roommate…who didn’t seem too thrilled. “Mino,I appreciate the thought…but Rev danced with Bella at the school prom!He probably likes her…” “Yeah,probably,we don’t know for sure!Either way,I’ll help make him fall for you!” Harry finally,stepped out of his melancholic state and cracked a laugh,sitting up. “Great,great,thanks for the help,cupidon.How exactly do we make him fall for me?Got any ideas?”
Mino stared at him with wide eyes,realizing he had absolutely no idea. “Yeah,no idea,but we’ll figure something out-“ The class bell rang. Both of them sighed. “Ugh,what class do we have?I am not in the mood for our teachers.” “Honestly,good question!I have no idea!Let’s just hope we run into someone we have class with and they remind us!” “You truly are hopeless.”
“Alright,alright,listen bro,what if…you ask him out!” “Do you really think he’ll say yes?Everytime I asked to tag along he just told me ‘no’!” Harry sighed. “He’s like,turning down any opportunity to even talk with me!” “Oh,please,Rev’s like that to everyone!” Mino tried to cheer his roommate as they walked through the halls. “Yeah,he is like that…I just hope he might,maybe,soften up to me-“ Harry was too busy looking at Mino,he bumped into…Rev Vennett,sending them both tumbling on the floor. “Ugh!Seriously,Wolf!?Why do you keep running into me!” “Sup,Rev.Shouldn’t you be going to class?” Mino helped up Harry.Rev also stood up,brushing off the dirt on his uniform before looking up at the Minotaur. “That’s where I was going,Minotaur.Shouldn’t you two be going the same way?” “Huh?Why would we be going the same way as you?” Harry’s tail flickered from side to side slowly. Rev looked at the two before groaning and rolling his eyes. “We have the same class.” “We do!?” Harry’s tail started to sway back and forth more and more,which Rev took notice of.
“Yeah,Rehabilitation 101.Did you two…forget your timetable?” The silence that came from the two jocks was clear enough for Rev. “Whatever.Move it,wolf.” Rev starts walking.Immediately,Mino grabbed Harry the shoulders. “Dude!This is your chance!Talk with him!Ask him out!Do your thing,Romeo!” Mino pushed Harry and the wolf stumbled a bit before walking over to Rev,starting to talk. “Sooo…Rev,how was winter break?” “You should know.That harpy caged you and the siren in the auditorium just because she wanted to get me to like Christmas.” “I-uh,yeah…by the way,thanks for not telling anyone about the gift I had!” Harry rubbed the back of his head,his tail accidentally hitting Rev as it swayed back and forth.Rev groaned,rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. “Yeah,whatever,I just didn’t care.Also,control your tail,wolf.” “Uhh…I kinda can’t…” “…Why?” “It acts based on my emotions…like a wolf,or dog.”

Rev groaned,picking up the space,groaning once more when Harry rushed next to him again. “By the way,Rev,you should…go participate at the try-outs!I think you’d make a good football player!” “Really?You want me to join your team-yeah,why am I surprised,that’s the first thing you asked me when I killed that Minotaur-“ “WHAT!?He killed me and you were more concerned about him not joining the team!?” “WHERE DID YOU COME FROM,HOLY SHIT!” Rev jumped back as Mino appeared next to Harry. He placed his hand on his heart,still feeling it beat from the shock. Harry…tried to hide his laugh,but his tail swaying was something he couldn’t control. “You good,man?” He asked,feeling a bit of concern for how badly his roommate scared Rev. “I’m fine,wolf!Quit following me!” “But Rev,we have the same class…we might as well walk together!” He hoped Rev wouldn’t just speed up his pace to try and isolate himself from Harry,deep down,he prayed Rev was starting to warm up to him even just from this small interaction.
Rev looked at the werewolf and the Minotaur,groaning loudly before putting his hands in his pockets. “FINE!We can walk,just don’t talk!” “Works for me,man!” His tail swayed frantically,making Mino laugh.The three boys walked together towards their class,and Mino couldn’t help but nudge Harry with a smirk on his face,he has already convinced himself mentally he’s the best wingman.
The moment they arrived at the class,Harry pushed the door open,seeing every student seated and seeing professor Lovecraft already writing on the whiteboard. “Shit…are we late?” Harry slowly walked in,the two other boys following behind him,trying to go unnoticed…which failed.
“Mr.Wolfe,Mr.Taurus…and Mr. Vennett. I’ll be honest,I did not expect to see you,Vennett,hanging out with two people that aren’t Mr.Dracula,Miss Phim or Miss Donna.” “I’M NOT HANGING OUT WITH THEM!The wolf just bumped into me while I was walking to class and then started to talk…and made me late!” “Sorry,Rev…” Harry rubbed the back of his neck. “And I’m sorry,Mr.Lovecraft…for being late…” He kept looking down.Lovecraft hummed. “Well,I suppose I can look over your unpunctuality.Since this is rehabilitation 101,and you’ve shown clear sign of remorse,Mr.Wolfe,I can excuse your actions this time.Remorse is a human feeling,and that is what we have learned last semester.Take your seats,kids.” Harry looked up at his teacher,tail swaying left and right. He walked over to his desk,sitting next to Akuma,while Mino sat at his usual spot,next to him.Harry kept his gaze on Rev,who took his seat at the back of the class next to Mark Dracula.
“Woah,Rev,I didn’t expect to see you and Harry!We have ran into him during prom night…” Mark spoke with excitement. “Yeah,well,the wolf keeps bumping into me,now shut it,vampire.” “Awww!He wants to be your friend,Rev!You’re making more friends!I’ve always been a little scared of Harry since he’s a bully…but he never really picked on me,though…is he nice?” “I don’t know and I don’t care,vampire.And he’s NOT my friend!” Rev groaned as professor Lovecraft started teaching the lesson.
Today was honestly…a long day.Maybe it was just how every day coming back to school after a break felt like,but Harry was tired.Both him and Mino walked back to their dorms,chatting about the first day after break.Mino was currently rambling about how he swore he saw Nerissa eating someone behind the school,Harry didn’t believe it honestly.That siren was all bark and no bite.She always tried to eat people yet she always failed…maybe it was for the better. “Dude,I swear she had a bloody hand in her mouth!” “Yeah,yeah,whatever lets you sleep at night. You probably just saw it wrong. She NEVER actually gets to eat anyone.” Mino sighed,they finally reached their dormitory and he unlocked the door,stepping inside and falling down on the bed. “I’m praying it’s not a full moon right now.I really wanna sleep and I don’t wanna hear you howling the whole night.” Harry laughed,looking out the window before turning to Mino. “Nah,don’t worry!Its only a half moon!No howling tonight!” He sat down on his bed,taking out his phone and groaning. “Ugh!Seriously!?” “What?What is it?” “Nerissa!That fuckass siren is already asking me about what happened today at rehabilitation class!She ran out of things to gossip,I’m telling you!It’s not just her,really,Akuma too!” “Man,just ignore them,or tell them exactly what happened,we ran into Rev and talked with him!Hey,I say we did good progress!Rev let you walk with him!Not talk…but he did let you walk besides him!Also,can you turn around,I wanna change,man.” “Right,right.” Harry turned around,back facing Mino as his roommate changed. He smiled a bit at the memory that Rev actually let him walk besides him.Sure,it wasn’t much…but he still got to walk next to THE Rev Vennett!THE KADE troublemaker! “Alright,done!” Mino flopped down on the bed,sighing in relief,Harry himself got off the bed and took off his jacket before taking off his shirt and shoes,then he sat back down on the bed. “You’re gonna sleep like that?” “Yeah?That’s how I always sleep,dude.” “Gonna sleep like that with Rev too,eh?” Harry threw his shirt at Mino,who just kept laughing. “Oh,fuck off!I swear if Rev tries to kill you again I WILL go and help him!” “Ah,lovely. My best friend chooses his love life over me!” Mino laughed,throwing Harry’s shirt on his chair,landing it successfully.Both of them were laying down,Mino was humming softly before looked over at Harry,who was already trying to fall asleep,trying. “Night,bro.Try not to have a wet dream about Rev.” “Okay,now I actually want to kill you.” They both laughed before finally going to sleep,and Harry DID have a dream about Rev…just not a wet one,a rather sweet dream,both of them on their first date…It was a sweet dream,and when Harry woke up the next morning,he honestly wished he hadn’t woken up from that dream,but,there was nothing he could do than move on and get ready for the next day,hoping to run into Rev once again.
