For a long moment, the only sound was the crackle of the fire and the ragged, uneven rhythm of two hearts trying to beat in sync for as long as the night would allow. Under the cold moonlight, Jeonghan finally let the first audible sob slip, a small, broken sound that was immediately swallowed by the howl of the wind.
