Summary
Jake shouldn’t have been born an omega. He has big hands, big feet, big… well, everything. He’s nothing like the sweet and dainty omegas he sometimes sees in the street, usually in the company of men who carry with them the alluring smell of alpha everywhere they go. Each time this happens, Jake has to cross the road.
He’s given up on the idea of ever being like those omegas. By the time he turned twenty, he realized he could never catch an alpha’s eye. Now that he’s twenty-eight, even the silly dreams he used to entertain as a young omega – that somehow, an alpha who’d like someone like him, who’d want him to carry his puppies, existed in the world – have faded from his mind.
Until he catches a scent that makes him dizzy. During a bar brawl. From which he staggers out, bloody, adrenaline pumping in his veins.
