– was the only word Seo Hoyun was able to spit out after reading all that blew up SNS as he currently sprawled out on Woosung's bed after an overnight stay. Woosung was asleep clinging onto Hoyun’s waist from behind when Hoyun was doing his morning check on twitter but had left to the bathroom when Hoyun was in the middle of going down the rabbit hole trying to find the initial post.
‘I mean it's not really an issue if it's a dating scandal between me and Woosung but the biggest shock factor was the realisation that we haven't addressed our relationship.’
“So what's going on on twitter?” asked Woosung as he came out from the connected bathroom, hair wet, a sign that he took a shower, plopping next to Hoyun, Woosung continued to dry his hair with a towel leisurely.
Seeing that Hoyun just stared at him without any response, Woosung asked cautiously.
“What? Did the Dawn end up in some scandal?”
“Yah… Woosung-ah, we forgot to put out an official dating notice.” Hoyun answered with a deadpan expression.
“Eh? Wait really?”
“Yeah”
“I mean it's not that bad… I guess?”
“We’ve never came out to our members too huh?” Another realisation came to light.
“... … , shit, so have we just been showing off PDA without telling them we’re dating? How confusing that must’ve been.”

“..., Oh… so that's why we don't have an anniversary…” Hoyun said softly in disbelief as he leaned back on the bed, before committing fully to the bed.
“Oh my god, are we morons..” Woosung announced as he also laid down on the bed next to Hoyun.

As the pair ‘calmly’ tried to figure out what other duties they’ve forgotten, including WH ENT’s approval, in the The Dawn dormitory a similar conversation occurred, though less sleep deprived.
“ㅋㅋㅋ, theres actually no way both sides forgot about such an important thing!” the red headed maknae laughed as he clutched his stomach.
Just a few minutes ago, Kang Ichae noticed a spike in messages by fans on Bubble, deducing that something had happened online, the entire group –excluding Hoyun– came together to investigate.
“Come to think of it, Hoyun never really told us they were dating?” Jiwon added.
“They’re dating??”
“??? Kim Sunghyun-ah… there's no way…”
“Ah– I mean.. I did think their relationship was weird, but seeing you guys act as if nothing was wrong I thought I was just imagining things?” The idol tried to explain his reasoning as he stammered as if trying to justify his naivety.
“Wait, since we’re already on this topic, when did you guys find out about their relationship? After all, we didn't just unanimously decide they were dating at the same time.” Kang ichae said in a mischievous grin.
At that sentence, every member in the dorm just sat still trying to remember the moment their Hyung’s romantic life came to light.
“Hrmm, well I've never really had a moment where I found out, after all they have had that vibes since forever.” Dajun muttered as he leaned back against the sofa.
“Then what about hard evidence?”
“Umm, I think around last year or so? I saw them kissing behind the stage after our award show…” Dajun replied to the red head.
“Ohh!” Jiwon responded with his hand over his mouth.
The stage lights finally dimmed down, moving away from the hot stage lights, Dajun went to group up with the rest of The Dawn, yet there seemed to be one less person… ‘Seo Hoyun’... .
‘Where did that hyung go?’ Dajun thought as he walked down the hall, spotting a vending machine, he paused his mission to get a refresher when mid kneel trying to take the drinks, a sound came from the emergency stairs beside it.
His attention was directed to the door, as he slowly opened the door, he whispered. “Who is it?”
When suddenly two figures entered his field of vision from the floor below. ‘Who is it??’, looking down to identify ‘HOYUN?!? And… WOOSUNG SUNBAENIM?!?’ Both in weird positions, Woosung against the wall and Hoyun doing a kabedon.
‘What? What's going on?? Are they fighting?’ soon Dajun’s mind was in a turmoil until it wasn't.
“Yah- again?” Woosung said in a bewildered tone at the deja vu.
“This is the second time, suck it up.”
Hoyun grabbed Woosung’s collar when suddenly…
*Chup* Hoyun kissed him, not letting Woosung escape.
Dajun’s mind was now in an even bigger turmoil than before, deciding not to watch this go on, Dajun decided to leave and return to the other hyungs.
“Ahh… so that's why you were acting so off back then” Sunghyun commented.
“oh, yeah that happened.” Jiwon commented as well, remembering the flustered Dajun.
“Ehh? What about you Jiwon hyung?”
“I don't really have anything like dajun, but I guess the moment that really solidified it for me was when I saw them cuddling in the practice room.”
Jiwon arrived at the WH ent building intending to do some practice before the other members woke up, as he arrived at the dance studio’s level he noticed the lit practice studio of The Dawn, ‘Did someone forget to shut the lights?’ As Jiwon approached the studio he felt something was wrong.
Unlocking – or opening the door to the studio he peeked in the room looking around before noticing the black hair of Hoyun and a ‘Blonde?’, approaching closer the sight of Hoyun and Woosung squished tightly onto the small sofa with their hands and legs wrapped and intertwined with each other reached his eye.
‘Ah.. were they practicing till dawn.’
Not wanting to disturb their rest, Jiwon covered them in a blanket and switched off the light before leaving.
‘I guess I'll go to Black Call's practice room instead.’
Sighing, Jiwon turned around and headed to Blackcall’s studio where he ended up sharing it with the sunbaenims.
“Eh! To be able to practice with the Blackcall sunbaenims!” Admiration was basically dripping from Kim Sunghyun’s eyes as he gushed at Jiwon.
“I'm guessing Sunghyun Hyung didn't have any similar experience?” Dajun asked or said to the group.
“Ermm, I guess I do kind of have one?”
“Hm, what was it?”
“I mean… Woosung-sunbaenim is named ‘Kimichi hogu‘ on Hoyun’s phone and Hoyun is named ‘NyangNyang’s mom‘ on Woosung-sunbaenim’s phone.”
“Huh?how did you know?”
“Saw it a few times by accident when they messaged each other.”
“But it's not really a big indicator that they're dating…”
“I thought it had a bit of a flirty or teasing nuance to it though?”

And so Kang Ichae went on about the story which started when he first discovered Seo Hoyun and Joo Woosung’s friendship…

Basically, Kang Ichae shipped the non-canon Jugyong so hard, he forgot they weren't dating. At some point, imagination and reality meshed and Ichae had forgotten it was ‘non-canon’.
And so Woosung and Hoyun had officially started dating! — in Ichae’s mind — whether that occurred before they actually started dating or after… we shall never know….
As Ichae’s overly complicated story slowly came to an end, the entrance door opened, however was left unnoticed.
“What are you guys doing?” Hoyun asked as he leaned against the hallway taking off his shoes, confused at the sight of his members sitting in a circle.
A loud screeching sound along with a few screams came from the bunch of idols huddling together like penguins, though mostly as a result of Kang Ichae’s sudden yell.
“You good?”
“…”
“Hyung, are you going to make an announcement?” Jiwon asked.
“En, probably.”
“A scandal about hyung and sunbaenim, not because they’re dating, but because we don't have confirmation…” Dajun mumbled.
