Summary
It had sown a small seed of something in his chest; cold, biting, a strange frustration and aggression within. Initially, he had chalked it up to his own self-doubts and insecurities trying to ambush him again, and the matter was dropped entirely from his mind once he brought it up the same night, your kisses and small apologies sweeping such trivial worries in a matter of mere moments.
However, as he learnt a week later, the feeling had only been biding its time; sneaking, undercover, for the perfect moment to jump back out and claw at his throat.
In which Durin experiences a rather intense bout of jealousy for the first time, leading to some rather petulant shennanigans, and one pointed snarl.
