It was just a regular friday night hangout with the entire class in the common room, everyone was chatting and laughing while drinking some variety of non-alcoholic drinks and eating Sato's freshly made food and baked goods.
After a bit everyone gathered near the sofas and they started playing some basic games like truth or dare and whatnot. At one point Mina gets an idea though and she shares it to the class :
“ Guys guys ! ! Now that we've known eachother for a while, I feel like we should do something, whoever feels like it, that I've always been curious about. . So, what if we spun a bottle and whoever it lands on, they have to tell us their sexuality ? ”
She looks at the others and basically only Denki isn't surprised by the request ( other than Aoyama who well, barely didn't even need to play the game for the others to tell what he was ), and everyone else starts either blushing or looking awkwardly at her.
“ Hey hey, stop looking at me like that ! Sure, I'm known for always wanting the tea but this time it's just to help us get closer I promise ! ! If anyone doesn't like the idea, they can just back out ! ”
She clarifies, still not convincing everyone but at least it was something.
“ Sure ! Sounds alright ” she hears Kirishima suddenly say, and everyone switches moods instantly except for a certain someone.
That someone being VERY closeted and internally homophobic. But we'll get back to that later, probably. ( or you'll have to guess )
Mina cheers and starts doing a little dance like usual when she's excited for something, she then grabs an empty bottle from the common room kitchen and puts it on the coffee table infront of the couches.
“ Alright ! Let's start then, shall we ?!! ” she shouts enthusiastically, maybe a little too much. .
As soon as she spins the bottle, it lands on none other than Iida, who well, couldn't of have been an even more boring choice ( Mina's thoughts, not mine ).
“ Oh. . Well, I don't know much about sexualities but I feel like I'm. . straight ? ” He says using his arms as if they were wooden signs that are speaking for him instead, for how rigid he's moving them, imitating his tone.
“ Or you're European ” Mina adds, giggling but with no actual seriousness in her comment.
Iida just looks confused but then he's asked to spin the bottle again for the next person and it lands on Mineta, who we're not even going to listen to because you already know what he has to say about women. ( plus I barely want to acknowledge his existence honestly < 3 )
Once Mineta spins the bottle after getting beaten up by almost everyone for his words, it lands on Todoroki.
An interesting choice this one, because nobody really knows what to expect from him considering how reserved he usually is.
For once he decides not to be cold and instead he warms up ( get it. . Like his quirk ? ) to the others by declaring an oddly specific sexual orientation coming from someone like him :
“ I'm uh gay and demiromantic. ”
Everyone just looks at him, mostly wondering what the second half of his sentence means, but nonetheless they cheer for him for coming out infront of so many people.
Shoto smiles awkwardly at the sudden praise, confused as to why this is such a big deal. But then his eyes meet with Midoriya's who looks rather excited.
He wonders if it's because of the news he just received, the fact that he's his best friend so he's proud of him, or if it's because of something else.
But let's leave that to your imagination for now.
After all that sudden chaos, Shoto spins the bottle once again and it lands on Denki who calmly states that he's a raging bisexual. Nobody is actually surprised so there's some fake gasps and such that he laughs on.
“ I'm sure you all knew though, right Jirou ? ” He winks at her, but she doesn't really acknowledge her as she's busy chatting with Momo, he sighs and chuckles as he continues the spinning bottle game.
It lands on someone everyone barely knows about : Shoji.
He looks very calm like usual but you can see by his shaking, multiple, hands how nervous he actually is deep inside and Tokoyami comforts him by saying that he shouldn't have to force himself if he doesn't want to, in his usual brooding tone of voice.
But then Shoji creates one new mouth to talk through and as he looks over to Tokoyami, he collects himself and reveals his truth :
“ This is quite unusual for me to reveal, but I'm uh gay. Even if I haven't been in a relationship yet and I haven't really had time to think about guys all that much. ”
Once he ends his sentence everyone cheers him on as Fumikage looks over to him, and he uses one of his multiple hands to spin the bottle. . possibly even a little too hard.
It lands on Tsuyu ( not literally , thankfully ) next and she makes a little croaking sound as she gets just the slightest tint of red on her face.
“ I'm a lesbian, maybe you could already tell ” she chuckles as she makes a whispered joke about her long tongue, making some people flustered as they laugh. ( iykyk )
She then uses that tongue to spin the bottle and it lands on Ojiro next.
He quietly states that he's straight as he looks over to, where seems to be atleast, Hagakure who softly giggles at the boy. The class starts clapping especially at what is hinted in this situation.
The next 'contestant' is none other than All Might's love child, Izuku.
He becomes fully red as he is embarrassed to reveal his not-so-secret secret. Covering his face slightly with his arms as he mumbles that he's pansexual. Bakugo's ears perking up as well as Todoroki's, Ochaco seems interested as well 'strangely' enough ( we all know how whipped she is for him ).
He stumbles over his thanks as the class cheers for him, him being quite shy about it as the bottle gets spun yet again.
It lands on Jirou and Denki seems quite interested in knowing what she has to say, worried that she might not be interested in guys since she hasn't acknowledged him in the slightest yet.
She sighs and then clears her throat, fidgeting with her quirk's earphones :
“ I'm bisexual. I don't really have a preference for either genders though, they're equal to me. ” she states.
Once the class cheers again, she uses her quirk to grab onto the bottle and spin it around, landing on Koda.
He gets extremely shy as he sees the bottle pointing at him as he starts fidgeting with his fingers. Surprisingly enough it seems he's done quite the research about this whole ordeal, atleast compared to the rest who are still mostly exploring, as he mumbles different types of sexual orientations :
“ Uhm I'm gay, asexual and demiromantic ! So I relate to Shoto, I feel like I got more comfortable sharing this thanks to his previous answer. . ”
Everyone claps and cheers, Sato even gives him a gentle pat on the back as he offers him a baked good. Koda smiles happily after spinning the bottle delicately for the next person.
It slowly lands on Mina who immediately answers in a cheer and a short dance that she's bisexual, nothing to hide there really !
Afterwards they continue the game, revealing that Momo is omnisexual, Kirishima is pansexual but with a male preference specifically ( not surprising anyone especially those who saw his sports magazines in his dorm room. . ), Hagakure is straight and probably in love with Ojiro but who knows. .
Aoyama is proudly and openly gay but nobody was actually surprised at that ( as he's never mentioned a girl before and only ever guys from his favourite fashion magazines ).
Ochaco turned out to be bisexual but leaning more on women, Tokoyami being the same, but leaning more towards men instead as he states : “ I've had time to think about guys ”, which leaves everyone a little confused except for Shoji who seems. . oddly flustered ?
And for the last few we have Sero who is bisexual with a female preference and Sato who is graysexual and pansexual ! Leaving everybody probably confused on what the first label means as he tries to explain it.
Last but not least we have Bakugo, who seems extremely angry and explosive like usual as the bottle lands on him, blowing it up with a little explosion of his. Izuku and Kirishima try to calm him down a little but he then suddenly stands up and just leaves.
Everyone scratches the back of their neck as they try to reason with his actions, confused on why the situation would make him suddenly so frustrated. All but Midoriya, who has analysed Katsuki all his life probably by now and is trying to understand him better.
But, I guess we'll have to find out another time in more detail. Or again ; maybe you've guessed it already.
