Grace loves doing parent teacher interviews. He never has anything bad to say about his kids and he always makes sure to outline exactly what he was going to bring up with the parents beforehand so they didn't have to stress about what was going to happen during the interview.
Grace doesn't let the actual student sit in on the interview but he is perfectly fine if any of the kids in the family had to tag along, especially if they were his old students who were so excited to see him and show off photos of the plants he gave them when they graduated.
All the interviews so far had been very standard talking about how well the student was doing and a couple tips for improvement.
However at the second to last interview it was with Mabel's mum and she had brought along her older teen, Zach who was a former student of his.
As soon as the pair walked in Zach gasped while scrolling their phone before shouting out in surprise, "Mr.Grace why the fuck does the Tom Ryder want to have sex with you?!?!?"
Grace didn't know what to think, yeah he knew Tom Ryder they exchanged phone numbers the last time Grace went on set to watch some of Colt's stunts in person but there was no way in heck Ryder was interested in him!
He just stammered, "L-language and Tom Ryder does not want to do that with me where did you get that idea from?" He was bright red and trying to not think too hard about the possibility of Tom Ryder liking him. He is just a dorky, nobody, middle school science teacher after all.
He knew Ryder was attractive, anyone with eyes could have told you that and was very successful so any chance that Grace had with him wasn't even in Earth's orbit.
Zach quickly turned his phone around to show an article from Tea Time about Tom Ryder's leaked search history which included things such as "how to convince my stunt double's identical twin to have sex with me"
It was an open secret that Colt Seavers is Tom Ryder's main stunt double and that Colt had a twin brother.
All of Grace's students knew that he was related to Colt Seavers and often begged him to let Colt visit the class and talk about what he did for work.
However since it was such a distracting spectacle and because Colt was rarely ever free when he was in the area most of his students had yet to see more than just photos of Colt Seavers.
Grace still tried to deny it, "No that could be talking about anyone and you really shouldn't be looking at people's leaked search history those can be quite private things."
Zach wouldn't relent however the whole point of the interview was entirely forgotten and Mable's mum just sat there in shock listening to her child try and convince Grace that Tom Ryder wanted him bad.
He tried to say again, "He has to be talking about you no one else has an identical twin who is a stunt double for Tom Ryder!"
Grace just ignored them and moved to talk to Mable's mum as they were running out of time he saw when he glanced at his watch it was almost 7:30 and he would need the entire slot of time to talk to Dustin's mum about some issues he had been having with the latest unit.
Finally around 8pm the interviews were finally finished and he biked home.
He shucked off his raincoat and hung it up before just kicking his shoes to the side of the door to be picked up later(read as never) he decided to make himself a cup of tea to drink while he scrolled through the latest news,
Skimming articles about the newest space discoveries that were saved to be read when he was more awake. He stumbled onto that Tea Time article and clicked it with a growing curiosity to read closer on what Tom Ryder was searching.
His blush grew more and more prominent at the thought that maybe the searches were about him before quickly clicking off the article when he saw the one asking if it was gay to have sex with your stunt double.
Him and Colt were closer now then they were before but no twin needs that much information about their siblings intimate life.
Grace's curiosity mostly satisfied he drained the rest of his tea in one large gulp before putting the mug in the sink to wash in the morning when he wasn't so tired.
Grace went to bed and dreamed of Tom Ryder maybe returning his tiny crush.
