He may as well learn about it now.” Papa takes the clip from Mama, turning it over in his fingers, then looks at Kaveh. “Most countries call rakshak ‘Sentinels.’ You might say they’re the opposite of Guides.”
“Bad?” Kaveh asks warily.
Both his parents laugh. “No, no, sweetheart. I would say they’re more counterparts than opposites—here, let me bring it up,” adds Mama.
