“What the fuck are we going to wear?” He asked. Shane shrugged.
“I mean, I was just gonna wear sweats if we’re just hanging around here tonight.”
“No, I mean what are we going to wear on Drag Race?”
“Oh, I don’t know. They dress pretty fancy on that show, so…my suit, I guess?” Shane met Ilya in the doorway to the closet and scanned their wardrobe. He spotted his suit in the back of the closet, taking it off the rack and showing it to Ilya. Incidentally, it had been the suit he had embarrassingly almost worn to their first hookup. Ilya groaned.
“Shane! You can’t wear that boring suit! You have to look more fashionable than that. We have to go balls to the wall!”
“Once again, I regret teaching you that phrase.” But Shane supposed Ilya was right. If there were ever a safe place to try something new, Drag Race was the place to do it. “But, uh, okay. What if I, like, added a colorful pocket square or something?” Ilya stared at Shane blankly for a few seconds.
“Oh my god, Hollander. You are so much more boring than I thought.”
