Summary
Sequel to Caught in Amber Eyes.
I never thought I’d marry until I met Emily. She’s sweet, submissive and, most conveniently for me, not particularly intelligent. With Michael, her ex-husband, out of the way, I can finally have my happy ever after with a woman who will tolerate my controlling ways, a woman who will not take advantage of me or make demands of me.
But complete submission isn’t always easy for Emily and the spectre of the man she loved and trusted for fifteen years casts a shadow over our fragile fairytale.
Michael has never hid his darkness from me. It’s one thing we’ve always had in common. Neither of us are kind. Neither of us are selfless.
