Dying doesn't hurt. It's cold and terrible and lonely. Everything gets so quiet around you once you start dying.
Grief doesn't feel like something that you need to cry over. It feels like losing something apart of yourself. It feels like pain within your mind that you just can't get rid of. It chills your body and makes it hurt to function.
They're both cold. Freezing, unrelenting cold.
The only difference is one of them gets to keep functioning.
It hurts.
