Summary
The city’s law enforcement is split in two — and they couldn’t be more different.
On one side: the Armed Detective Agency — trusted police, led by Captain Fukuzawa, working strictly within the law. Among them are Ranpo Edogawa, an unmatched genius consultant, and unpredictable detective Dazai Osamu.
On the other: the Decay of Angels — an elite special unit answering only to the top. Led by Commander Fyodor Dostoevsky, they work in the shadows, using any means necessary. To the ADA, they’re dangerous vigilantes; to the DOA, the police are too soft and bound by rules to ever win.
They avoid each other — until a string of brutal, calculated crimes shocks the city. Forced by command to work together, their clashing methods and morals are put to the test.
Three brilliant minds — the detective, the strategist, and the wildcard — will discover that the only ones who can match them… are the ones they hate most.
