   There’s a stone monolith in a garden that bears his name as a stamp of finality. White rose buds sway in the breeze, never to blossom. Frozen in time.

   Jason looks at his own grave and thinks about how he never got to grow up. Then he remembers being ripped from his comfortable rest and returned to his home. Gotham welcomes him back with familiar warmth. Talia finds him while he's out of his mind and brings him to the League. Jason trains for a while before he's complicated by the pit and the way it lingers under his skin.

   His memories flare, he's viscerally angry, and now he's meeting Talia's kid who looks painfully familiar. Somewhere along the way the kid starts to matter to him.

   (This is mostly in Jason's POV but a few sections are Damian!)
