   Summary

   For a while, he lies on his back on top of the covers, hugging his duffel bag against his chest. His eyes are glued to the popcorn ceiling, appreciating the weight on his chest, an instant soother for him, and tries not to think about his mother or God or the pretty boy below him, or almost anything else.
