Finney Blake is NOT by any means popular, sure he has a small social circle of friends he trusted, but that can only get you so far in highschool. Finney just developed a routine. Wake up, get dressed, get through his classes, goof off if one of his friends are in it, hopefully try to avoid and not catch buzz and his gangs eye, come home and take a beating for Gwen. Up until he catches wind of a chemistry project in his class, with assigned groups. Yippee. Luckily for him, hes got two of his friends actually in the group!!….and Three complete strangers. Unknown to him, this project will cause some new friendships, new rumors, new rivals, and potentially even something more between the members itself.

He hears it when he walks out the front door barefoot with the gun in hand, he walks slowly to the edge of town and sees nothing but Forest and it calls to him

Finney and Robin used to be friends, back when everything was simple. They practically grew up together, really. They were attached to the hip for years. It’s a mystery why they stopped talking and switched it for glares across the hall, even to Finney.
Finney knows Robin never does anything unless he has a reason to, so he knows there must’ve been a pretty good reason for Robin to hate him, but gods does it make Finney mad. No warning, no note, no nothing. Finney doesn’t even know what he did wrong.
But he doesn’t care now. Their relationship will never be the same. Finney will never see Robin in that beautiful, perfect light again. Especially not when he is currently watching Robin repeatedly punch Moose in the face.

So, I was watching the black phone 2, and I kinda thought, what if more happened in the basement than we were shown, AND he can see the ghosts, he just refuses to accept it. So I thought, what if the final fight went differently and Finney had a couple of flashbacks and got more hurt?
This is going to take place from when Billy went missing and Hope died in 1975, all the way up to the end of the black phone 2 in 1982.AKA, Finney has a terrible time.

Lonnie Byers calls CPS, claiming Joyce is an unfit mother. The system believes him. Will is taken from Hawkins and sent to Denver with his father, now calling himself Terrence Blake, his new wife Hope, and his daughter Gwen. His name is changed to Finney Blake, and Hawkins is erased from his life.
Terrence is still abusive. Still cruel. Still dangerous. But Hope never tries to replace Joyce, and Finney finds something he hasn’t felt in a long time: safety.
In Denver, Finney makes friends, boys who understand fear and survival all too well. Then they start disappearing.

Facing the humanity of the Grabber has left him in questioning and he regrets taking the mask off the cruel man. Albert is lost as his latest "Naughty Boy" game had shattered horribly. His brother is gone and the cops run the streets of the neighborhood, someone had seen something and he needed to find who before word spills and he is caught.
I won’t be updating this fic anymore, I do plan on reworking it!
