After the events of Secret Life, Gem holds a strong disliking towards Pearl in Wild Life. She betrayed her after all. Pearl, not entirely understanding what she did wrong, would very much like to be friends again. So Pearl tries to get Gem to forgive her, and fails over and over again. Turns out Gem is a little stubborn.
