Rui Arneb's head hurt. Sharp pain ripped through her mind as a stream of memories flooded it.
"... this name I bestow..."
"... that's "From Zero" I offer..."
"... is all you can be..."
Spica Natsuki was in pain. She couldn't feel her body. Her consciousness was flowing somewhere, fusing and becoming part of someone else. A myriad of mundane memories of living... existing inside the Corridor of Memories with one single wish - to be happy.
The girl was confused. All this time she had pursued her wish, a perfect life, so that she can finally be happy. But just now, she lived through a life, not a perfect one, not at all. There were a lot of problems, especially in the beginning. But still, somehow, she felt…
"Happy... I was..."
A pained expression formed on her face.
"Daddy..."
And then she cried like a baby.

It hurt. She was devastated. If there had been anything inside the Corridor of Memories, she would have broken it. If she had a real body, she would have cried until she ran out of tears. If anyone could hear her, she would have screamed until her dad found her.
Everything was taken away from the girl.
She wanted to wake up in her bed, give her mom a tight hug, ask her dad to braid her hair into drills like her older sister's, so she could tease her until she screamed at her to stop calling her "sister", and then play with her other sister and her pets.

The girl missed how her mom would pout at her dad's antics and call him troublesome, but still always smile at him. She missed how her friends would always visit her despite living far away, she missed her mean aunt, who always teased her dad. She missed everyone and everything — even the whiny green guy who never liked her.

The girl felt like she could cry forever.

But this wasn't the N■■■■■■ way. Sure, they cried a lot, but they didn't just lie down and give up. So, she did what her dad, N■■■■■■ S■■■■■, would do. She stood up, pointed her finger toward the skies, and proclaimed.
"Dad..."
"I promise I'll definitely come back!"
"And I will be happy!"
