everyone thrived with thee,
my companions were in bliss
the dandelions bloomed; gleaming in sun
i celebrated the joy in summer’s day
then, as we turned tired and exhausted
the lunar spear of moonlight pierced
the lush gassy surface of the earth
it glossed the surface; we sleep softly
all snugly and tucked tight
until i decided to follow the azure light
she seemed amiable enough to trust
beneath the comfort of illusion,
I imagined
that was what destiny intended
the azure light followed me into a mineral
i stole abilities and skill; i was thrilled.
my coral skills glowed in the lunar light
the azure light shined with me
i thought she was a companion; friendly.
i told my companions,
blinded by her feigned warmth,
I mistook silence for acceptance.
her power glowed luminous and vigorous
the azure light felt wrath on me,
shattered me into pieces one by one
my coral light dimmed; i fell.
i felt the ground; i touched the dandelions
they were wilted and languid with despair
the azure light killed my flowers.
i shut my eyes; to die in agony.
