“How pretty you are,” Wumuti said after a few moments, her voice distant and cold as she bent down slightly, and grabbed onto Muti’s chin, before gently lifting her head back just far enough to be able to see her once more, “you truly do look exactly like me. My, my, it would seem like the priests undersold your value.”

“Look at you trembling already,” Wumuti said, her voice dripping with disappointment as she turned Muti’s head from side to side slowly, almost as if she was examining whether or not to buy a product, “how unfortunate.
