Her guard is up again. She’s suspicious of me, my motives, my love for her. She doesn’t believe she’s worthy. Or she thinks Lillian is more worthy. Either/or, I don’t understand it. Is it just the trauma, is it underlying insecurity, or both? She said she came from a broken home, too, so has she just been kicked around too much?
It would be easy to say she’s too much work, but I’m no cakewalk either and I know it. She’s just more dramatic than I am. But that fire is what makes me feel alive. I need it.
